Its a crappy attraction in every way and if it represents anything its what happened when TDO tried to make Epcot relevant with cheap thrill rides that leave absolutely no impact on you and you walk off saying meh. That's Future World nowadays for you nothing but meh.

lol ok so a ride i have never experienced anywhere else is cheap....just because it is not filled with a vast story-line or appropriate for all ages is not the guideline for cheap thrills...my body has never felt like that on any coaster or other attraction i have ever been on.

just like the COP is the lord and savior right?

I'm going to ask the zookeepers to please move their pets aside for a minute so I can get a million pics of myself in front of that painting.

I call bull because all it is a "WE'RE TRAINING YOU TO GO INTO SPACE (NOT REALLY) BUT HERE WE GO!" 2 preshows and a 3 minute experience up against a tiny screen does not make a good ride. It is a brainless attraction with absolutely nothing going for it (Star Tours 2 completely destroyed it anyways) and no COP is not the Savior my beautiful face is.

Besides the fact those capsules made me feel like I'm claustrophobic (and the only thing that ever has made me feel that way), I agree - it was the tiny little crap screen/projection thing they have going. It's an embarrassment. I'm a bit over-sensitive to video issues as I have professionally edited before (and I just have a good eye, to be honest) but whatever method they are using there is terrible, it looks like a VHS tape blown up.

I'll agree to disagree.

I don't ride it every visit (probably will if we decide to head over tomorrow) but it certainly isn't a cheap thrill.

Edit: wow, didn't realize how old this post was.

Is that mural at the new Character Spot?

Nope. The new character spot has updated versions of the cartoony back drops that were there before. However, the M&G spot out in front of the Camera Shop by the tombstones is using a section of it as backdrop. At least they were as of last week when I saw Pluto there.

Thank you for the info.
