I wish they would so some sort of tribute to the original EPCOT Center. Revisit rides like Horizons, WOM, JII...
They could do a walk through pavillion with working models of some of our favorite scenes. Just a thought, wish, whatever.

I like the way you think Kwit35!

Well hell if they do that they might as well....

Well if they do that then, theoretically let them go ahead and temporarily change back some of the still standing originals back to their opening form, for example, how hard would it be to place the old show back into Universe of Energy if they are going to take it down eventially anyway, putting back elements of the exising show, or adding back elements of the original Imageworks back upstairs in JII, Kodakk doesn't use that space anymore. Or play some of the original area music through the park like the old horizons theme. Just a thought.

There have been a few rumors floating around about a new country. I know there was a comment from one of the reputable board members that suggested some sort of expansion. There is space around the lagoon for more countries, but at this point any addition would be nothing more than speculation.

As much as I want them to build up world showcase it seems like the focus is still on fixing Future World. I think I read a rumor that there gonna finally tear down WOL and UOE and use the space for a new amazing eticket and also SSE is supposed to be getting a big refurb.

In theory, they'd just have to lug most of it back in -- a LOT of the original stuff is still sitting up there.

Epcot 25th

Now just imagine Opening morning of Epcot: Music loops from varius years; One Little Spark, Horizons, Etc...

In the center of the Fountain the one back SSE with newer "monoliths" of Epcot (like the one that was in the entrance) but dark and ever chaging all the EPCOT Center Logos in fiber Optics or LCD.

Innoventons West: Reflections from EPCOT; Imageneers sketches, pieces from sets, AudioAnimatronics from the rides (something in the lines of the RocketRod cue (it had some real rides that came from a drawing (and in between) some of the Old videos and proyections, music loops and maybe just maybe a scene or 2. This is a walk thru.

Innoventions East: another walk thru. But remember when they tested Aladdin's Carpet Ride, Sponsored By Silicon Graphics? Now imagine: a place that you can create your own ride, (like Roller Coaster Thycoon) a place where you can actually meet Imageneers. See Blue Sky ideas (stuff that never could be build, because copyrights and stuff) see some of this amazing technology like AudioAnimatronics without skins. This area is more interactive.

Journey into your Imagination 2 with Figment: Actually ad the DreamFinder. and have a meet and greet with DreamFinder and a Smaller Figment.

Honey... Ask Kodak to do a newer version of the True Colors pre show.

Ad more Countries to World Showcase, maybe a ride or two, over Germany and Japan.

NOW...

Illuminations: Silver Edition (remember Illuminations used the 25th for the WDW anniversary.) It will be a Journey into EPCOT past, present and future.
the Musical cues are from Motion, Space, Energy, Sea, Land, Communications and Imagination. The Show starts with a narration like RoE, with a candle blow and everything, because you need to start with a Spark of Imagination (as the Epcot's Fanfare begins) this is the main piece of music, it will include fragments form all EPCOT music.

These will be in movements or segments: Past Present and Future

EPCOT Fanfare: Past, first movement
Golden Dream (rearange) Past to honor the EPCOT Legacy
Innoventions: Present
Motion and Space: Present
Fronteer: Sea and Sky; Future
Legacy (in the lines of We Go On and Promise) Future
Finale: Epcot Fanfare or the end of RoE

At this point after the Show, proyections will apear over SSE with the original Epcot Center logo changing colors as the Epcot in Top with the Actual Logo. The logo proyections give or are spinning around SSE.

And as the people leave the music is the same as opening but more slow. And a a narration over the Monorail will give a legacy of whats Epcot and stands for.

Is important to understand that I am refering to the Old EPCOT capitalized and the Actual version of Epcot like is writen...

Dont expect to see a new country for the 25th. I honestly do not see where they would have enought time to construct it. We just got back from WDW and took the Hidden Treasures Tour and the CM was emphatic that there was nothing in the pipeline new country wise.

I would expect to see representatives of different countries in WS during the 25th along the lines of the Millineum Celebration...

I'm all for a Epcot Center "Past" display of some sort...this is a great idea, but sadly i don't expect to see anything.

It would be fantastic if they had at least one walk-through attraction based on Epcot's glorious past in one of the Innoventions buildings. I'm thinking along the lines of the Walt walk-through at MGM....i really enjoyed this a LOT and it's one of my favorite things to do when i am there. If there was a attractions like this, with old video footage, show peices, models, plenty of concpet art for both park as a whole and the different pavillion rides, that would be worth the ticket price alone! Who here would'nt find that interesting and worth checking out?

I always though it would be awesome if WDI did a permentant display of whatever treasures they have stashed in their warehouse on view at one of the Parks. What a wonderful attraction this would be...maybe set it up at MGM since it would probably "fit" there best and could be housed in one of the soundstages. Imagine a place you could go every visit and see these wonderful models, figures, old ride props, concept work, art gallery, etc. and it would constantly be changing!

Wow....i'd pay to see that!

I hope Epcot gets a grand send off for the 25th with something special and somewhat nostalgic. I tip of the hat to the old original attractions would be awesome.

As pointed out above, there probably isn't time to do anything grand.

We can hope for them to finish renovation of Living Seas, with perhaps major cleanup and maintenance work on SpaceShip Earth and Universe of Energy.

A new version of Illuminations is a doable thing.

But that's probably all they have time for, even if they had the will.

It would be nice to see a new daytime lagoon show as well, something in the same mindframe as Suprise in the skies. I could also see a new fountain show in Innoventions Plaza being created for the 25th, I still love the Millenium version that plays every now and then, a fountain show that pays tribute to EPCOT Center then and Epcot now would be nice.

Wow... Looking at some of these suggestions, it seems like you all want to take a park with an eye out for the future and send straight back into the past... that's the way to celebrate 25 years...

That's what I was thinking.

A lot of these suggestions almost look like you want EPCOT to return to the way it was before the first 5 years it was open. EPCOT's entire design and idea is a look forward to the future. If anything, it will probably become less like its original form by the time its silver anniversary comes around.
