My family and close friends all agree that it's our favorite park.

Great Food,
Imported Beer and other good drinks,
fun,
no tacky themes,
some thrills,
more adult crowd,
relaxation,
international girls,
SSE,
beautiful architecture,
accents,
stereotypical costuming (aka conversation starters with the international girls)
.......... the list goes on and on

I think Scar Junior pretty much nailed that one on the head. Epcot is my favorite park too for all of those reasons and more.

Epcot is easily my favorite park. Relaxing. Beautiful. And, it's got IllumiNations. :) Plus, can you beat that many attractive girls from around the world? It's like a cornucopia of international hotness.

P.S. Typing without punctuation or basic grammatical structure reflects poorly on you. Sure, it won't hurt anybody. But, you're just making yourself seem stupid.

To the couple that said so:
Do you think as you get older you appreciate it more or as Epcot gets older you like it better. It's definately not the same Epcot Center today that it was in '82. (And I don't have a problem with that).

well i guess you all love epcot then i seem to have offended a few people but its just a personnal thing. it would not be good for us all to like the same thing and i aplogise to the member who said my punctuation was bad i thought the question was about epcot not a punctuation exam!

I don't really think you offended anyone, don't worry. We all have differing opinions!

As for punctuation, your post WAS about Epcot, but I had to read it at a 20x slower rate because there was no way to differentiate between sentences, words, etc. I think that's all the poster meant - if we can't read the posts, we can't answer them...and we do love to answer them:wave:

The old school Epcot is by far my favorite park ever. I hadn't been in years and when I went back this year for the first time I was disapointed to find that the Epcot I grew up with was gone.

Horizons and World of Motion were gone, someone had kidnapped and held the real figment hostage, and the sea cabs were gone. Add in that Test Track was down for 6 weeks and I can't ride the original Mission Space, there wasn't a whole lot to do. Also consider how badly outdated innoventions is and I was very let down and I hated the Ellen overlay to Universe of Energy.

I'm starting to grow to enjoy the new Epcot again. Bringing back at least a version of the sea cabs is great. I do have to admit that Soarin is far better than food rocks was (although not with an hour and a half wait). I still don't like the new Ellen version of UoE (I greatly miss the wonderful preshow that it used to have with the moving screen). The addition of the green ride at Mission Space is nice and I'm glad to see SSE getting a refurb. If they can do all that and just manage to update innoventions somehow so it doesn't feel like 1996 land Epcot will probably launch back to being my favorite park again.

EPCOT_Rocks.

Also, my friends and I have a new game: Drink Around the World Plus.
You have a beverage at each nation in the WS and then you ride Sorin. You could also do it with MS, but I don't think that would turn out too well.

I'll agree, Epcot is different, but I - and it seems most people! - still love it! :) Magic Kingdom is my favourite park, but Epcot isn't that far behind. Epcot was definitely my parents' favourite park! I think it's the most laid back park, very relaxing and overall beautiful! :)

There's nothing wrong with Epcot, as long as you know enough not to spend a whole day dragging young kids through all the country pavilions. It's mostly an evening park, with the restaurants and Illuminations - great for going to after a day at AK or a water park. They seem to have recognized recently that the emphasis has to be on entertainment: pretending to be educational just reduced the entertainment value, without providing any real information about anything.

I LOVE Epcot! My kids do too! Of course I believe they like the FW part better but my fave is WS! My DS fave ride in all of WDW is Test Track. We all enjoy Soarin and Mission Space and my kids just found the joys of Innoventions which I had to dragg them out of because of dinner ressies. The only thing I am not very fond of is SpaceShip earth (needs a refurb big time) and the living seas. Now a park my son doesnt care for is MGM, he only likes Star Tours and RNR there.

I think Epcot is amazing, as is MGM and MK. I'm still trying to get on board with AK...with Epcot, you've got the future, what man will aspire to be, etc. With MK, well, the Magic is obvious. At MGM, it's all movie/Hollywood magic. At AK, I'm still trying to figure out what the Magic is...

I totally agree with you on all points. Although I love the animals, I just cannot get AK to grow on me like the others. Epcot gets better and better over the years. If we have to choose one park to go to for a short trip, we would choose Epcot.

I beg to differ. There are several educational tours offered at Epcot as well as youth programs. All of the Youth Education Series programs are aligned with national standards and can be correlated to local or state standards. Just being at Epcot can be an education for some young people who may never have an opportunity to travel to Japan, China, Norway, etc. I encourage my students who travel with me to WDW, to purchase a "passport" and have it stamped in every country. This forces them to talk with several people from other countries and hopefully realize that there is life outside of their little North Louisiana town. I personally can't wait to take the "Behind the Seeds" tour and when DD turns 16, the "Segway" tour.:sohappy:

I love Epcot, not just to go on rides or eat myself around the world  but the atmosphere is great, just to walk around the countrys and hang out for the day is great... or sometimes I willl go for EMH in the morning go on a few rides and go to another park, because I think Epcot Draws more teens and adults then kids, thats why the lines for rides are sooooooo long....

I have to say I love Epcot. Its my number 2 park, a short, very short distance behind the Magic kingdom. I dont mind the new Epcot, I love Soarin', Test Track... and just the overall fell of the park. The only thing I dont like is the wand.:)
