The music is going to be the hardest part to keep up with. Tho it's been done before.. It's a tall order. Music is far more important to emotional response and retention then most realize.

But play superman'so theme, Indiana jones, Star Wars, Harry Potter, Halloween... Not only are they recognized but people generally have an emotional shift.

That's the big power of soundtracks

...and the fact that Soaring blows orange scented pixie dust during the ride. Unless you know and took measures of immunity, you'll be clapping at the end even if the projector bulb blew.

Yeah, the soundtrack was probably the biggest difference for me between the Jeremy Irons and Judi Dench versions of Spaceship Earth

May a sensor has failed that is linked to the doors opening is broken, from lack of maintenance (only thing i can think of)

If I'm not mistaken (@marni1971 feel free to correct me), but the actual *opening* of the doors is mechanically linked to the track, where the ride vehicle rolling toward the door actually *pushes* a device under the track that then pushes the doors open. That way the doors open every time, at the same point in the car's approach. Since there's no electronics involved, the only way that the doors don't open is if that mechanical pusher system breaks in a major way (which is why the doors themselves are made of styrofoam).

More likely what happened is that the system that *closes* the doors again after the car has passed broke.

The vehicle does not physically actuate the doors. They have their own mechanism that is triggered when a vehicle gets to the right point on the track. They open just as quickly when vehicles approach them below profile speed.

Gotcha. I'd be interested to see what that system is comprised of, since I could've sworn I'd read that it was a fail-safe system that there was no way the doors wouldn't open when a car approached...
