Epcot rumor per Jim Hill...

Exactly. If Frozen hasn't had any effect on the Gran Fiesta Tour, why will it suddenly be popular with Coco? I'm not convinced that a pixar film would make it that much more popular. If they added a second ride to Mexico instead of refurbing, I assume it might help slightly..but I have no idea if that is doable.
Yes! I've always loved how 90% of the Mexico pavilion is under one roof....but given its location, I would think you could add another ride building outside? But for the sake of balance I would rather see another ride on the other side of WS.

Israel had a pretty decent ride back at the Millennium celebration. I wouldn't mind having that as a permanent attraction (with better effects, of course).

Then again, Disney might stick Aladdin and Jasmine's meet and greet there, since they'd technically be in the Middle East for once.
Do you want to start World War 3?

TDO would NEVER build a second attraction building at the same pavilion...they would scrap the existing ride and replace it before they did that...and again, there are plenty of pavilions that have no ride at all, and a couple that have empty show buildings for the rides that were never built...

I was glad when they brought Three Caballeros to Mexican Pavilion. Better than just sitting in a dark storage room. I thought it was a nice touch. I wonder how many other AA's are in storage that can be brought out to plus an attraction or pavilion somewhere? Wishful thinking on my part.......

I absolutely agree. But I wouldn't be surprised if they wanted to do something in Mexico because it would sell more margharitas. I really think any of the countries presents so much potential even if simply through the lens of what stories/legends/myths do these places offer. While Maelstrom was not Disney's best ride, it was unique and created a sort of artistic vision of some pieces of Norwegian culture. Of course I doubt they will go in this direction again because edutainment doesn't sell Olaf plushes....

Not really. But I think it does show that the WS needs some more representation from countries (which is why I hope we get UAE, Israel, India, Argentina/Chile, and/or Equatorial Africa before Russia or some other European country).

I am afraid Tony Baxter's lavish Mary Poppins ride would never make it to the UK pavilion either...but it sure would be nice to see them do SOMETHING... So much could be done and it's just a pub and some shops...
What were the details of Tony's Poppins ride, anyway? Would love to hear more.
