Hey everybody! You've all been waiting for an Imagination refurb idea so here is the one. Credit for the 3D film idea goes out to Thrill Seeker who came up with the great idea.

Journey Into Imagination:
Area:
JII's area is going to receive a whole new look and feel. To start off, the pavilions color scheme will change from red and yellow to a more purple/blue style to reflect it's colorful nature. The entire building (including HISTA) will receive this look. Additionally the jumping fountains will be painted purple/blue. A new sign will replace the current one and to will be designed to tease your mind when you look at it. All Imagination Institute references are going to be removed and the banners above the entrance will be taken away as well. Expect new plants to pop up in the area. All of the plants will be purple to surprise guests even more. Cm's uniforms will change from lab coats to more colorful attire. The lighting at night will be completely LCD and will change colors along with the plants.

Line:
Much like the original pavilion the queue will be in the open space as before. A staircase in the center of the room takes guests to the Imageworks.

Ride:
Returning as Figment is Dave Goelz and introduced as Dreamfinder is Robin Williams. The vehicles will be painted purple. As the ride starts out you pass through a series of clouds projected onto mist, much like Davy Jones in POTC at the Magic Kingdom. Along the way you hear Dreamfinder singing "Imagination" until you encounter him and the Dreammobile. After he creates Figment you pass to the Dreamport. From there on out you go through different types of Imagination and see many cool visuals along with the infamous song.

Imageworks:
The upstairs Imageworks is the centerpiece of the pavilion. it will not only return but will feature several amazing new exhibits that will entertain guests who are in need to have their Imagination stimulated.
Upside Down Right Side Up; Upside Down Right Side Up is a room where guests can walk upside down or even tilted. They really have to keep their balance though.
Painted Symphonies; Ever wonder how to paint a picture while creating music at the same time? Well this will show you.
Figment's Fun Lab; An interactive labe where Figment interacts with kids and has them do a special task involving their imagination.
Ex.
Figment: "Can you use your Imagination? Think hard and see if you can create a tiger."
A random kid picked from the audience will focus his/her thoughts on creating a tiger and a tiger will appear on the screen.
Face Change; Guests can take a picture of their face/alter it/ and send it to themselves, firends, or family.

I've always thought it would have been nice to incorporate the Dreamseekers into a redone Journey into Imagination as additional help around the Dreamport or in parts of the ImageWorks.
Maybe having them be part as Figment's Fun Lab to have them as live co-hosts to Figment. Would be a fun way to enhance a show using the Turtle Talk tech.

Not a bad idea.

The Figment Fun Labs will use the Living Character Initiative technology.

Imagination: The Movie
From Thrill Seekers' great idea for an Imagination film comes the replacement for Honey I Shrunk The Audience.
Here is Thrill Seekers' brief description;

"Frank Simpleton is an average guy. He works as an advertising executive and never comes up with any new ideas. For fun, Frank works out at the gym, talks with friends at the same pizza place and goes home to watch TV and go to bed. In short, Frank's life has no imagination. That is until one day, when Frank bumps into a mysterious stranger who tells Frank he knows what can make his life exciting again. Frank meets with the man known as the Dreamfinder, who, along with his trusty sidekick Figment, decide to try to help Frank discover the true wonders behind using his imagination. "

Queue: The updated queue won't be much different than it is at the moment. New carpeting, a new paint job, no II references and some other slight differences.

Pre-Show: The pre-show film will be sponsored by Kodak and will show the magic of taking pictures.

Film: The film starts out with Frank Simpleton (played by Steve Carell) going over his daily routines such as; morning tasks, visiting the Pizza Pizazz, talking with friends, going to sleep. One day he stumbles onto an old antique shop called 'IMGnation Collectibles' where he meets a kindly shopkeeper (played by Robin Williams). The shopkeeper, who is actually Dreamfinder, shows him how to add some excitement to his life using his Imagination. Along the way Frank meets Figment and stimulates his Imagination. The show lasts 25 minutes and includes cool 3D effects and in-theater effects.

One of the first things I would do is transfer the now empty Wonder of Life pavilion into a weather pavilion which would include StormRider and a walk through attraction where guests can see how weather works, the differences around the world, ect.

The only thing about the 3-D show is that (in every other one) you stay in the theatre or you're physically taken outside. A film with quick cuts such as this might have a hard time immersing the guests.
