You can still see where the old welcome sign letters were attached. Given that, I imagine they will be giving the entire thing a facelift/cleanup now.

I certainly hope they clean it! I like the new look well enough (though I think the logo would have been a nice addition). I do agree the contract could be greater, but that's a design choice. Keeping it dirty would NOT be a design choice...

So now the big question - will the dirt from the World Celebration or the dirt from the sign be removed first... Fast forward to 2024 to find out!

I'm pretty sure the issue is that it can't be cleaned. It is alucobond like SSE which also appears to have suffered semi-permanent staining or corrosion. I am also sure that's why they chose to not wrap/paint it. But if the alucobond substrate is important to them, they should've designed it differently or properly restored the alucobond (which goes far beyond pressure washing).

Since they added the new EPCOT sign on top and it's still filthy, looks like all signs (haha) are pointing to no.

Hei Hei gets a lot, but not Figment.

Makes no sense repeating two characters from each film why not Bay Max or Ratatouille or Frozen with an icon behind the character of the place it's located in Epcot.

I think the white on white actually looks super sharp. If only both colors were actually white, and not grey,

The least they could have done was power wash the areas where the new signage was placed. Man, has Disney gotten lazy! So sad!
