I love EPCOT.
Everyone who knows me knows it is 'my Park'.
It is more then that, it is my home away from home.

It inspired me as a kid...and continues to today despite all the 'issues' i see.
It is still my 'home Park' and probably always will be.
So much to love about it.

My own personal top five things to do at EPCOT....

5. Enjoy what remains of 'old school/original EPCOT Center'.

4. Ride SSE at least four times ( not in a row...spread them out over a few days..)

3. Completely immerse yourself in the countries in World Showcase, particularly exploring every nook and cranny of Morocco, Japan, China, and Germany.

2. 'Illuminations: RoE' = The greatest fireworks presentation ever on property...ever.

And...most important of all....

1. Walk around and take in the scenery. Soak up the atmosphere. Take note of the landscaping, architecture, and at night, the lighting schemes.
EPCOT rewards those who take the time to slow down and enjoy the moment.

Heh heh...i have to ask,
Does riding Maelstrom after drinking 5 beers or more make it an even better experience?

With such a wonderful park, loaded with so much, it's just wrong to only give us 5.....

1 Mission Space .... But must be Intense
2. Illuminations ... The Best, always a great finale to a great day.
3. American Adventure ... The Show, the Voices of Liberty and the National Treasures Exhibit
4. Candlelight Procession ... Very moving no matter who the narrator is.
5. Flower and Garden Festival ... Can't beat the colors of the beautiful gardens & landscape

Epcot = Rock & Roll

If that sounds jarring or strange to the casual or infrequent visitor, it's one of the elements to Disney that is really important to hundreds, maybe thousands of local APers.

Eat to the Beat + Flower Power + Sounds Like Summer = almost 400 concerts a year.

Throw in Off Kilter, British Revolution & Mo Rockin and you've got around 3900 more.

Take this away and a lot of locals would be letting their passes lapse.
