I am actually very excited about the innoventions re-do. What they should do is have the Innoventions Blue(East) and Green(West) and paint Mouse Gear and the Club Cool/Character Spot buildings in the same shade of purple as the Fountainview. Remove the Millenium canopies 'maybe pave the Innoventions logo in the ground. and of course appropriate night lighting.:animwink:

Concrete replaced the brown tiles due to them constantly having to be fixed all the time. On 3rd shift there is a constant flow or heavy trucks that go through those breezeways and the tiles were always getting broken. If you look at the east breezeway tiles you will see what I mean.

(On a related question, anyone know if the RN in First Aid are applied through WDW
Casting or from Memorial Hospital, it being the sponsor?)

Casting but they have to be certified and licenced. I have a friend who's a nurse in the Epcot First Aid.

Interesting...that is for the Festivals, right? And thanks for the info on RN Casting.

I'm hoping they use the Green and Blue idea, but not one each. That would throw off the symmetry that is so obvious in EPCOT...

Something else I forgot to mention. After exiting the JIIwF attraction, we thought to give a hand at the face manipulation stations.

After toying with our pic for awhile, we accidentally bumped to a CM with a large legal pad. I happen to catch a glimpse of it as we passed by. What was weird was a sentence began with a time (I saw 10:30), then a bizarre abbreviation (quick ex. IWZK) and quick notes after it. He seemed intent jotting notes what appears about everything, detail, guest response, etc. Probably someone important because he was wearing regular clothing like CM leads or managers...who knows?

Oh, and the Figment's Coloring Book sign at the top of the escalators in the upstairs Imaginworks is gone, replaced with a potted plant/tree. Probably from the KPWSA's trial game back last year. Wonder why they decided to not use the upstairs after all? It would've made for a interesting finale...

Trucks go in and out every night, not just for the festivals. Highreach trucks, concrete repair, carpet cleaners, powerwashers, construction trucks, horticulture, etc.

Plain-clothed CMs are usually managers for various areas and not just imagineers or Disney officials (attractions, food and beverage, merchandice, security, custodial, and so on). You will see them with an ID lanyard and sometimes a trash picker in their hands to look like they are doing something, lol.

Agreed! Always wondered how many people slipped on them when they were wet. Hopefully they put like a textured kind of concrete in there to make it more slip resistant.

Just curious, am I the only one who has slipped on the ramp leading from the monorail station at EPCOT? I tore the skin on my knee a year ago, and had to get it bandaged. At first they thought I might need a few stitches. (Yes, it had rained in the preceding hour, but was not raining at the time.)

Just wondering.

 That's amusing for some reason.

You know, that reminds me - I don't know if this has been posted here or not, but the area with the caged off escalator from upstairs has opened now to Guests as a passageway from the queue to the Imageworks and vice versa.

Ah...The light at the end of the caged tunnel. I would love to go back up there...

So you still can't go up there or is this open?

(If not I might 'accidentaly' trip over the chain and 'confusedly' walk up the stairs.:))

That looks terrible. Why didn't they just build a real wall around the escalator? That's like dangling a treat in front of an excited dog...

It's tucked away in the back. Unless you do some poking and exploring, you don't see it.

Of course, if you go against the flow of guests, it's REALLY easy to see. :dazzle::lol:
