Epcot Future Change of plan

My biggest fear is what we might lose with Epcot v3. Attractions that still very much work and remain from classic EPCOT Center such as Spaceship Earth (mostly still an awesome ride in spite of the 2007 downgrades), Living with the Land and American Adventure. I hope these aren't in danger of being replaced and have a future in whatever plans they have for the rest of the park (some nice enhancements and plussing would be welcome of course as long as they respect the originals and don't give them the Frozen treatment or something).

I'm sorry to bug Martin about these concerns, but those attractions are some of the very few major things that remain of the original park (some more intact than others) and I desperately hope they still have a long (and brighter) future ahead. They remain favorite must-dos of mine.

Would be nice if Dreamfinder and Figment made a return to Imagination along with another overhaul for the ride, but I probably wouldn't bet on it at this point...

My first ride in the rebirth of Epcot began right here, mark this date:
Let me add the park seems to have quite a brighter future than at present. And it doesn't involve TRON.
The next 8 years or so could be very very interesting.
I'll post more elsewhere about the rebirth of EPCOT when I can.
I'm up... I start to get excited about attention to fixing Epcot,

It's looking quite promising. In an IP kind of way of course.
I'm down....the inclusion of IPs as part of it.

I'm now feeling like I just walked out of M:S, you know, the one where you feel like your Electric Umbrella burger is coming back up on you.

IP is a genuine differentiation in the market. While many (most?) of us love the EPCOT as it was, many new awesome museums have opened since the early 80's with technology making newer high tech exhibits more affordable. So even museums are on the competitive band wagon.

I truly loved EPCOT for what it was, but even with new pavilions, it would be very difficult to maintain any level of modernization. So, while not being an IP sell out, I am open to what the future may bring. If it is a very different spin on what MK or formerly-DHS offer as far as IPs, I could be open to the concept. While I was at one time an EPCOT purist, and I b!$%&ed with the best of them about the changes made to Norway, I can imagine World Showcase with IPs if the authenticity of the countries remains. As has been discussed, Ratatouille in France as an addition would not detract from France, but provide places for crowds and kids. If an attraction was added to Germany, while not touching the rest of Germany, that too would be cool. Perhaps 2 more countries and some IP injection to give us a new take on an old favorite park might be just what we need, but don't know it yet?

Again, I loved EPCOT as it was, but little has changed over the years and more has closed. To simply add a country or 2 would not put it back on my top list. It will take some real cash and new ideas. Sounds like they are working on that. Thanks to all the insiders on what they can share, when they can share it.

Based on what I've read so far in the past, and making my own assumptions, can I assume the following:
SSE is remaining as is
The Land and the Seas are remaining as is
American Adventure stays
Guardians replaces UoE, with possible expansion to WoL
Upgrades to M:S
Test Track remains
Imagination is far down the list and may or may not include Figment
New attraction between Morocco and France
Update of RoE
Changes to Innoventions (not clear what though)
General beautification of Future World

If - a big if - everything comes to fruition, not much will remain exactly "as is". Which isn't a totally bad thing.
