See I thought you had taken these pictures....you have blown the illusion.

I wanted your story of how you went on a backstage tour of the nursery where they were putting together the topiaries for F&G and then you happened to catch the very same topiary on stage the next day.
I am sorry to mess that up for you... I am the forever F&W and F&G festival fan.... But no MOST of these are not mine... a few are and I will get more when I return in a couple of weeks.... :)

I'm no great photographer and these are from my cell phone so please don't compare me to the wonderful pics previously posted here lol...

Hanami booth
Chirashi Hanazushi aka grilled salmon, cooked shrimp and crab stick over a bed of ginger rice with volcano and dynamite sauce. drink was a yuzu rita (frozen blend of tequila, triple sec, lemon and lime juice with a hint of yuzu). These were both good.

The cottage: savories, trifles, and teas
Potato, chive and cheddar cheese biscuit with smoked salmon tartare and sour cream. the taste of this was really good but the textures were all soft. kind of like eating smooth peanut butter on really soft white bread kind of thing. for me it made it less enjoyable due to that.

baked goat's brie with kumquat chutney. i really liked this one but i like to do goat's cheese, bread, and a sweet chutney for lunch or a snack when i can anyway so this was right up my alley.

smokehouse bbq and brews booth area
if you love the smell of meats being smoked at a summer bbq this area will make your mouth water.
these pics are the smoked beef brisket and the smoked pork sliders. they were both really good imo enough so that i had the brisket 2 more times over the length of our trip. the first day, pictured here, the brisket was about a 4-6oz portion...really big for this type of event and a little dry but the next 2 times we had it it was a lot more moist and about a 3-4oz portion. the flavors were really good.

over by Italy at the primavera kitchen
left lasagna primavera (spinach lasagna, green peas, zucchini, mushrooms, broccolini, bechamel and tomatoes with garlic and basil leaves). i've never liked this sort of thing usually finding parts of it slimy but this i could eat any day of the week. it was really good imo. also pictured is the asparagi con aragosta all'ortonlana (green asparagus, lobster, with garden cocktail sauce). this was a cold dish and i liked it but it had a bit to much sauce over it but the taste was good.

Lotus House
spring pancake with grilled chicken, green apple, and a hot sauce. this was pretty good. not my absolute favorite of the day but good. We ate this with a Kung Fu punch (vodka and triple sec with mango and orange juice) this was really good imo.

Pan fried veggie bun. This was pretty good.

Jardin de Fiestas in Mexico pavillion
Tacos de Carnitas (pork carnitas topped with tamarindo salsa, served on a flour tortilla with chicarron) and right is a tostada de jaiba (crab tostada werved withchipotle mayo and valentina sauce) this reminded me of the ones they use to serve at la cava. both were good.

Florida Fresh Booth
shrimp and stone ground grits with andouille sausage, zellwood corn, tomatoes and cilantro. drink was the 40 karat carrot wine from florida orange groves. this was a good dish.

thank you :). likely heading back during the craziness of my granddaughters spring break around march 25th or so. i can't imagine what ride wait times will be like then since this weekend rides like rnrc hit a 100 minute wait time for standby. the lines for the food booths at epcot were fantastic tho.

Well I am just amazed you can upload such great pics! It took 3 weeks and clicking to the instructions with the moderator guy to get an avatar for me...I can be so technologically challenged at times...
