I realllllly want one of the retro shirts, especially at the 50% off price, but I am not going to be down there until August (when I move to Orlando... why oh why can't the great merchandise be available when I am so close to it) and hope they still have some left...

If they had the Epcot Center repeat shirt in XXL, I would already have it, but according to the CM on the phone they didn't make it in that size. And there's no way I'm going to get a lesser size in a Disney shirt. They are notorious for being smaller than normal in T-shirt sizes. If they made them in XXXL, I would get those just for the length. Most of the XXL WDW shirts that I do have are just too short.

I tried that already in April when I ordered some of the graduation products. They said the Epcot 82 shirt was available in park only, then I tried the sku number for one of the shirts posted on here, said it was avail in park only, too. With the 10 dollar shipping charge, not really worth trying again... I guess I should have called back and asked someone else if I can...

How are they lying to you? I very much believe these shirts have been discontinued, and the last shirts are now being sold until they are gone (or pulled from the floor). Buy them now, while you can.

I picked mine up the 2nd week of May(Black EPCOT CENTER). I went up to a cast member to complain about the lack of Epcot merchandise that didn't have characters, cartoons or a stupid wand on it, and she led me right over to these beauties. Too bad the purple EPCOT82 is a girls shirt, or I'd have bought that one too. Let's hope these sell well enough to justify more designs in the future. When I wore my new shirt the next day in MK, no fewer than a dozen CMs complimented me on my shirt, and a few asked me where I got it. LOL

Because you're all saying that they still have them for purchase, just that they are 50% off. I clearly know that they have some left, obviously they do if someone found them on sale the other day. They are lying and saying that there are none left. And I can't buy them now, I live in NJ, not FL....and I won't be there until 8/7

I want to thank everyone who is willing to update this thread for those of us who won't be able to get to the World for a couple of months... I am buying my AP pretty soon after my arrival and I might make a quick trip to Epcot just to get this shirt while I attempt to move into my apt in Orlando... how lame of me.
But if anyone is willing, I can give you my ebay name, I'd be willing to pay for the shirt and the cost to ship it up to MA. PM me if anyone is game...

I've heard from a cast member that the two styles that are on sale will be replaced with additional Epcot vintage shirts! Can't wait to see them.

DOH! I let my AP expire this year in favor of paying off some credit cards.
I neeeed to get back there for one of these shirts! I have one we picked up in 82-84 (yikes can't remember) but I need one I can wear and not worry about wearing it plain out!
I love the hub-ub and hoopla over shirts. Yall are great!

They don't usually pull directly from the shops, so if there are none in whatever warehouses they pull from, then they have none.

I called to have the shirts (purple 82 and EPCOT repeats) mailed to me back when this thread started and they also told me that they were only available at Mouse Gears. Some people said they had no problem and got them ordered by mail. Luckily I knew a friend that was going down there and got them for me.
