They're not lying to you - they probably don't have them in the warehouse anymore, whatever is left is in the store. Just because they are still selling them in the store does not mean the same thing. Once the stock is depleted, it just won't be refreshed.

Latest update on the shirt situation - the Purple 82 fitted, the rainbow SSE fitted, and the rainbow repeats shirts are all still available. It appears that these shirts have not been selling well at all, and there are no plans to make any new retro shirts in the future.

Sorry guys, but I think we're in the distinct minority when it comes to classic Epcot merchandise.

okay, so I'll be there in 37 days. The odds of them still being there are slim to none. Who wants to buy me the purple one? I'll reimburse you for the cost/time/shipping.... whatever. Please?

I will be there in about 40 days... epcot is the first place I am headed. If anyone would mind shipping the purple one to me, too, I would be forever indebted. I will reimburse all necessary costs and can show my ebay profile...

Does anyone think that they will remain in the store on clearance until they are all gone?

Hard to say... it depends if anything new comes in that needs the space. There's a chance they will be pulled and sent to Property Control or the Outlets before they are fully sold out.

How sad. I was just there a few weeks ago and was so happy to see them all. I had no idea they would be so short lived, or I would have bought one.

I picked up the rainbow repeats and the world showcase sailing ship one on Thursday, and both (along with the others) had full racks. Also noted that all were at full price ($20) and did not have the clearance price tags (red rectangle around the price).

Only the two fitted shirts (the purple 82 and rainbow SSE) are on clearance. They have full racks now, but it appears that once they're gone, that'll be it.

Yeah, I saw these when I was at Mouse Gear the other night.

I shoulda gotten one but they were so expensive($20!) and there were a ton of pins I had saved my allowence for.LOL.

Now is it just the fitted ones or all of the retro shirts getting discontinued, though? I can see the retro stuff not appealing in that format; LOL I wonder how many people who can remember the old Epcot can fit into fitted T's. ;)
