Epcot After Hours Tasting - New event

I think I'll drink at UNI's numerous Happy Hours instead.

If by "numerous" you mean three ... or two if you're not an AP ... or one even if you are an AP but it's Mardi Gras or HHN or a Manheim Steamroller concert. (Counting CityWalk, discounting the hotels.)

Although that one might be my single favorite theme park bar. Say hi to Regina and Ashley for me.

Heard some news yesterday that Epcot will be offering a new evening event called After Hours Tasting and that you will be able to stay in the park until 11pm. It's suppose to start later in April. Anyone know how to book this event or where I can find anymore information???

The transition begins.

IMO.

I know this seems like a silly question, but I don't see confirmation of it anywhere.

Will they continue serving drinks at the bar or are you limited only to the items served as part of the ticket price?

Heading for the great escape.
And what are we "winding down" from? An overrated, long in the tooth nighttime show, brand new countries to explore from 1988, or a FW that is anything but forward looking.

Yet I'm sure people will be falling over themselves to pay for the privilege.

Why doesn't Disney start a tithing program so people can just send them money even when they're not at WDW?
Don't ever forget, you love Disney and Disney loves you!

They have its called DVC

Did anybody else read this story and get really excited, then saw the $35 charge and that excitement turned to disappointment?

If this truly is an attempt in any way to add to the bottom line of MM+ it is extremely reprehensible. They basically want to charge me $35 so I can give them more money for drinks and food? Actually $70 if my wife and I go. No thanks, I'll enjoy a few drinks at Crews Cup Lounge or hit ESPN Zone and get a huge serving of pork nachos and a few beers for less than $35 and theyre open until 1 am most nights.

Cant wait to see the half wit comments on Diney Blog. Im sure the words immersive and innovating will be repeatedly vomited up by some blonde mommy nincompoop

Yes, when I originally read it I was expecting these four places to be open until 11 where anybody could go… Instead it's a velvet rope, reservation only, shell out even more money experience….

Giving Disney money for the privilege of spending more money.

I wonder when Disney and the Sheriff's department will team up to share profit over DUI fines for folks leaving Epcot later than the norm (or anytime after F&w) ? Seems like a reasonable profit point, no?

Its a lot better sounding than the 50.00 rip off for that new illuminations dessert party that has like nothing to offer except a isolated viewing area and a couple desserts with only champagne

Sounds like the pricing is there to discourage people from going with kids without actually coming out and saying children are not allowed. It really does seem cost-prohibitive to take a little one who wouldn't be able to partake in the beverage sampling...which I assume is going to be alcohol.

I love seeing the wee folk have fun at WDW, but my wife and I as a couple would like to see a few things for just the grown-ups occasionally :)

Insane tangent.... OCSO was all over property last night. Pulled over the guy tailgating me at 1230 am.
