I've got a question about the 'after hours' event...

Do you have to pick just one of the four places to do this event at, or are you free to roam around and go to as many of the four places as you want to?

Would appreciate some input as I've not been able to find this out elsewhere.

I booked yesterday, June 5th at Spice Road. I am very interested to see what it will be like as well. But heck, a empty WS, booze and food seated near the water, yeah I think it will be fine :)

You have to book one place, so I assume it just that one place that is included. I would guess you could walk around and pay for drinks at the other places, but it would not be included in the original purchase. Kinda like a mini drink your way around the world I guess :)

This is what is included at Spice Road.

Lamb Sliders, Chicken Rolls, or Moroccan Sausages paired with a White or Red Wine Flight

Not sure of the source they used. It's a hotly debated thing over on that thread, imagine that on this forum :)

$35 is quite the cover charge on top of the 90s some you're already paying for one day one park… so unless Sgt. Hulka is paying, i'll stick with the resort bars, thank you very much…

As will I. $35 is a little steep for me since I'd also be paying the same amount for under-agers too. But that, dear people, is called choice. Ain't it great?! Frankly I'm ok with the offer, and I might consider it if it were just DW and me.

I'd be more happy with it if they kept it open for all guests, not a velvet rope reservations-only type deal.

I like the concept of keeping certain lounges open late at night, I don't like the idea of having to pay EVEN MORE to do so.

Now that does make sense. I guess this way is solely to guarantee a margin in case people didn't show up. But I'd definitely go, and probably end up paying MORE than $35! Like so many things recently, if there's a perception that it's not getting the desired outcome there will be changes. Meanwhile...see you on the Boardwalk!

You'll find me in a very heavily armed recreational vehicle. :D

It says $35 per lounge so maybe you could book all 4 in one night and pay $140.

If Rose and Crown had a free order of Fish and Chips plus the drink - I am sold. But like the above offerings - it will proabably be nasty overpriced food.

We are booked already for June 5th at Spice Road, I think it's a pretty cool offer. As far as the cost goes with what the five of use are spending to get to WDW, stagy there, park going, eating there and just have a general good time the extra cost of this is roughly 0.7% more, so I ain't sweating the cost :)

Problem is most of this stuff is sold out weeks before hand. I don't like the additional fees they keep charging either. If they can get it and all the extra stuff they keep offering is sold out every night then more power to them. Its called business!!! It makes no sense for them not to charge if they can get it and people are happy to pay the prices. All the dessert parties are sold out months ahead of time, and this will probably be same way. The parks are packed here lately, lines are long and most things like this are booked weeks in advance..
All of us would like things to be cheaper or free with admission but if we keep paying it ??????..... well they are going to keep charging.. Its called a business and that is what Disney is, no matter what we think it is or how much we wish it was like old days.

Until things don't sale out and demand drops its going to continue.. UNI offers a lot of things cheaper than Disney but my last few trips to UNI we did both parks in one day and ate at city walk that night. It just wasn't that crowded, and we didn't have reservations for anything. Given it was middle of week but Disney on day before of after was packed.

Great, yet another sign that I'm getting old. I never dreamt that people wouldn't immediately get that reference. It would seem a tad y otherwise, wouldn't it! Sorry all.
No need to be sorry. Classic movie and I missed the reference, like an idiot.

Never miss the opportunity to quote a classic, that's always acceptable.

Gunga......Gunga...Gu-Lunga.

It should be noted that, at present, any day guest can stay in Epcot until ~11pm and not do any rides. I can't think of the last time I left that park after Illuminations before 11pm.

So don't buy into this if staying late is your rationale. Just stay late for free.
I was wondering about this. So they are not going to usher you out if you are not wearing a wind down bracelet or whatever they are going to give out? My husband and I are having date night on our Epcot night and wanted to hang out for a bit before heading over to the Boardwalk.
