I apologize if these rumors have been posted but someone that is pretty reputable in Walt Disney World entertainment told me a few things that I don't remember hearing before so I thought I would pass them along. Again, these are only rumors so if Drew81 or anyone else can shed some light on these I would appreciate it:

1. Main Street Electrical Parade is coming back: The timeline was not clear but it had something to do with June. Apparently an old parade float storage unit that was given to some other department is going to be given back to parades and will house SpectroMagic while DCA's Parade will be here. Not sure if it will start by the end of this year or launch for the 40th.

2. A new daytime parade will be coming to the Magic Kingdom. It will not be Disneyland's Parade of Dreams.

3. Tiana's Showboat Jubilee is returning in April.

Glad there will be a new daytime parade, but I'm a little devasted that I won't be seeing Spectro my next trip if this is true... :/

Why not move MSEP to Epcot? or DHS?

Hmm the Electrical Parade one is interesting is TDA really going to let DEP go after adding all the new enchantments, bringing back the Snow and Pinocchio units, and the new Tink float. Then again BPB also left to DHS. Although isnt there is another Electrical Parade floating around somewhere? HKDL?

I'm happy about this though! finaly a new one please dont let the castle float be part of it. Parade of Dreams has sadly been destroyed all but 2 floats that are suppose to be added to Christmas Fantasy this year.

This is true, but I think the only reason it is in DCA right now is to attract guests to give that park some form of nighttime entertainmrnt until WOC debuts.

That's an interesting one. The Disneyland.com calendar has the Electrical Parade at DCA returning on Friday, March 19th and running nightly through Easter vacation.

I suppose they could wrap up the Electrical Parade run at Disneyland Resort in mid April, and then ship it out to Florida for a June debut.

That would kind of make sense, since World of Color will be the big nighttime event at DCA this summer and they won't need to rely on the Electrical Parade any more.

Am almost certain MSEP won't be brought back for yet another encore ... that happened in 1999 ... I've heard it's moving back to DL for the 55th.

I've also heard a new daytime parade will come to MK ... in 2011 (likely late in the year).

Have no clue about the Tiana show.

And seriously, fanbois, MSEP has no place at EPCOT or DAK. None. ... Nope ... Same as the uber kewl new Fantasic Four review coming to Tomorrowland ... and The Hulk's Global Warming Stage Spectacle replacing Finding Nemo at DAK!

Why? Why even bother?

Any truth to this rumor? I will believe it when I see it when Specto leaves WDW lol, soo many rumors have gone around in the past about Specto leaving or getting replaced.

It will be a glorious day in the kingdom when SpectroTragic is replaced by something new, grand, magical ... and way less self-indulgent.

Like a new version of MSEP Dreamlights from Tokyo!:)

I think awhile back there was a rumor of Specto getting upgraded to a 21st century parade for the 40th Ann. If so I could see DEP, or well MSEP taking its place while the upgrade is being done.

Or, if it's given a nice, new, re-mastered score, and totally overhauled.

Like MSEP was for DCA and Nightastic.

Bringing MSEP back would make sense if it tied in with the 40th Celebration... Though '74 makes a good point about DL's 55th. Afterall it is DL's parade, not ours.

Also, I did like Tiana's Showboat Jubilee, though it would be nice if they could do a park original show for the next production.

IMO, MSEP is alot more entertaining than Spectro (crazy horn blowing clown things anyone?) And why on earth would they ever put it in Epcot? Epcot is not a 2nd rate park to dump a parade in...and MSEP is not a second rate parade to be shoved to the side because of Spectro.

Yeah someone else mentioned it, but it's running at DCA right now and is just called Disney's Electrical Parade... The only other park I think it could fit in would be DHS. Epcot would be a no no.
