"Enchanted" Movie question

Has anyone seen the new "Enchanted" movie?

I am trying to get some opinions before I go see it! :wave:

Enchanted is a great movie.

It's a fun movie, with catchy songs and a great cast!

There's finally a "Disney Princess Movie" for grown-ups to enjoy and laugh with! :lol:

It was so much fun we offered to take others to see it 2 more times!

LOVe it! Definitely one of my favorite movies of the year.

I'm rather frugal, and I may pay the price of another movie ticket just to see it a second time!

go with a light-hearted attitude though. It definitely does poke fun at itself.

I loved it! And so did my husband. It has all the romance and whimsy of a fairy tale with a lot of humor, broadening its appeal, as well as plenty of Disney references to add to the fun. Throw a great soundtrack into the mix and you have a truly wonderful movie!

My 12 year old son and 10 year old daughter loved it. As if this weren't compelling enough, so did my wife and I (mid-40's).

You should go see it soon. A full theater makes it even better because there are some pretty funny scenes and having people laughing around you improves the atmosphere.

We've seen it twice and may see it a third time. We absolutely loved it! There's no justice in the world if Amy Adams doesn't win an Oscar for her brilliant acting as Giselle. The movie is both hilarious and very moving(especially the ballroom scene, I dare you not to tear up)and once again Alan Menken and Stephen Schwartz produce yet another brialliant batch of original tunes(the score is fantastic too).

SO...RUN, don't walk to your local theater and watch Enchanted and be sure to pick up the amazing soundtrack!

And just to provide an alternate opinion, I thought that while a good concept and a decent movie, I was disappointed in the editing of the movie and the chemistry between the 2 leads.

I was also upset to find that ..... oops, spoiler alert!!!!! Don't read further if you haven't seen the movie

I was also upset to find that Giselle isn't a princess and never will be a princess. And while we do have a new princess in Princess Nancy, I don't see her being added to the Disney line of princesses. However, it wouldn't be a bad idea. Girls who don't fit into the typical beauty mold could have a princess to model themselves after.

Definately my favourite film of the year, my self and my entire family who saw it with me would reccomend everyone to see it.

I'm probably going to watch it again next week and can't wait for the DVD release.:sohappy:
