They could do a thirty second “They’re the Claudes” show.

The problem with Strange World was the dialogue. The actors did the best they could with what they were given.
I don't disagree that the writing was terrible, but I also think that if you have the right actors, you can elevate the material and make it seem compelling by performance alone. All of the leads seemed better suited for a middling sitcom about wacky neighbors than Strange World.

I'm sure that's harder to do with voice acting than with traditional acting, but it nonetheless felt to me that with the possible exception of Ethan's VA they found an incredibly dull, lifeless collection of talent.

I have to admit I was disappointed by Dennis Quaid’s performance; I think he’s a fine actor, but his voice for Yeager was fairly one-note.
