Get a load of this idiot in the Orlando Sentinel (no paywall) on Friday:

Testa expects a full-blown, revamped DinoLand, once the site of Primeval Whirl, a coaster that closed in 2020 and demolished in 2021.

“I think, again, you’re going to see a big thrill ride, you’ll see a family-friendly, possibly dark ride, possibly water-based ride, sort of intermediate thing like Na’vi River Journey [at Animal Kingdom], and then you’ll see a third ride, which is, you know, the Magic Carpets of Aladdin [at Magic Kingdom] or something like that,” he said.
Wait... so what's the "big thrill ride", it can't be the redo of Dinosaur, is it?

By all means then tell us what it is going to be used for. You’re very quick to laugh at others so if you know, tell us. Otherwise grow up. Also intentionally making fun in a disparaging way at others users comments is a TOS violation.

I think the odds of this NOT being related to a Dinoland project are pretty slim. It's either to make room for it, for office directly for the project.

Why do you think WDI would be installing a large trailer complex at DAK with a large gravel parking lot and connection to a land they have publicly stated will be undergoing massive transformation? I wonder…

This is the one time I wish they'd go the cheap route and just have a "Indiana Jones vs Dinosaurs" ride that actually fills in the dark spaces with foliage.

I would tend to agree, but nothing would surprise me. I guess it’s wishful thinking that they are developing an actual expansion via the large expansion area directly adjacent to the temporary trailers referenced in the permit.

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, while dinoland needs a redesign, removing a dinosaur ride and area in a park called animal kingdom for Indiana Jones and Encanto is just dumb.

The smart thing to do would be to keep and redo the boneyard playground, spinner, the gift shop, quick service location, and redo the dinosaur ride to be maybe a tad less chaotic and easier to keep working properly, and then build whatever elsewhere. We need new additional things, not replacements

Wait, so ... thrill to replace Dinosaur, dark ride for Encanto, and spinner to replace TriceraTop, but where does a water ride come in? Or is that a qualifier on the dark ride? Encanto being a two-fer with an outdoor section that takes you through the Caño Cristales they showed around Casita would be cool.
Judging by how it's written hes saying that its either dark ride or water based

I’m guessing indoor, dark water ride themed to Encanto. I could be wrong about indoor and dark.

Yes, the Avatar trailers were a 12-wide, the new permit shows a 4-wide, and 2 16-wides for WDI, a future 4 wide for WDI and future 16-wide for a contractor. The "future" ones really suggest to me that at least part of this is a move of existing facilities.

Given the respective size of these offices (and how Pandora was a pretty big expansion and new and this is largely repurposing existing land), is it possible more than just Dinoland redo is coming? Well, I guess the Zootopia movie, but that's not that big of a project.

Not necessarily. Pandora was very much a Designed in California project. If they’re looking to have more design work done together in Florida then that would explain the bigger trailer complex despite being a smaller scale project.
