I remember hearing that about UoEI think there is a greater than 0% chance that Dinosaurs stay in DAK and even in that ride.
And Splash. So many people swore that they’d never actually get rid of Splash. Welp…I remember hearing that about UoE![]()
I don’t get the impression they want to keep maintaining the big dinos.I think there is a greater than 0% chance that Dinosaurs stay in DAK and even in that ride.
This is a mathematically correct statement.I think there is a greater than 0% chance that Dinosaurs stay in DAK and even in that ride.
When I’m an old man I expect Pirates and Haunted Mansion to have disappeared at some point as well. And Splash. So many people swore that they’d never actually get rid of Splash. Welp…
Would you accept Shanghai Pirates in its place? When I’m an old man I expect Pirates and Haunted Mansion to have disappeared at some point as well.
It’s rather similar feel to the movie. It’s not an engaging new story.I general agree, though Frozen Ever After isn't taking you through the story of the movie, it is set after the film and is a different story
My guess: Omnimover through the different enchanted rooms, like HM.I just hope it's a ride. I've seen it reported as a themed experience or a possible replacement. I'm not a huge fan of Enconto, but if they're going to use it, I would rather have a ride.
Walt Disney wasted Dumbo, then. Such a fool.Putting Coco as a flat ride in Animal Kingdom is a level of wasted IP like a small Frozen ride and Moana walkthrough in Epcot.
This is WDW. They can spread out IP over several parks.Putting Coco as a flat ride in Animal Kingdom is a level of wasted IP like a small Frozen ride and Moana walkthrough in Epcot.
I doubt it would.Would you accept Shanghai Pirates in its place?
I always felt The Tree of Life would had been the perfect location for an indoor show starring Rafiki as a kid. Even the tree itself reminded me of Rafiki's home from the Lion King Films and spin-off material. The presence of Lion King in the parks is definitely not what you'd expect, given the popularity of the films.
While DAK was being designed initially, there was a Lion King show at Magic Kingdom (where Philharmagic is now), plus there were parades and that sort of thing.
But the opening day Lion King show at DAK was a last minute scramble--definitely not something that had any long term planning. It was just thrown together with some leftover parade floats and some very talented performers. And it is a pretty good show!
My guess is that Lion King has always had "enough" presence in the parks to sell merchandise that, whenever it was considered, something else always took top priority.
And as for international parks, since the show at DAK was so well received, that is what HKDL ended up getting too.
For all the popularity of the second golden age Disney animated movies, their representation in the parks is not what you'd expect. You'd think they were unpopular compared to Pixar movies or something, despite selling similar numbers of tickets domestically.
Alright, you got meWalt Disney wasted Dumbo, then. Such a fool.

Calling what FEA does a “story” is far too kind.
It’s really little more a mish-mash of random recognizable things from the movie.
I feel like that's a clear misspelling of "moichandising".
