Not everyone transverses the world like you do…I'd rather an original ride (or let's face it, a different IP) over another Indiana Jones, a ride I can ride in Tokyo DisneySea and Disneyland CA.

Just going on “informed insiders” here…Was that confirmed anywhere?

Understandable, but most guests aren’t traveling the world to see a unique attraction…tweak it a little bit? Perhaps, but don’t dismiss a duplicate here in the states.I'm in the same boat (but I am hoping to change that a little in the coming years). But I also don't want a bunch of clones being added to every park. Make each destination with it's own special touches and rides instead of making things homogeneous.
Fair enough. I guess I should clarify that I don't want to see another trackless ride out of this company. They have proved enough times (stateside at least) that they can't get it right. Or they don't want to.That’s due to the designer, not the ride system.
Skull Island at Universal has very minor elevation changes and trackless... so definitely possible. But not with the ROTR/MMRR vehicles.
Universal wasted a huge pile of money on true trackless. Given its linear ride path it absolutely should have been guide wire. Same with Fast & Furious: Supercharged.I may be wrong but I think Skull Island is guide wire not LPS.
It’s neither, there’s a driver.I may be wrong but I think Skull Island is guide wire not LPS.
The driver is an animatronic. It’s neither, there’s a driver.

Except the duplicates make up a decent chunk of what most of the parks in that resort get now, with few exceptions (and even then a couple of those exceptions have been cloned anyway)...bring on the uniquityNever really understood the hatred towards WDW receiving duplicates of things... 99.9% of those that visit WDW won't ever travel outside the US to visit another Disney park. More than fine with receiving similar attractions found elsewhere.
We can speculate on Indy because it already exists. Encanto is new territory and we have no idea what they have planned.Interesting to see how there’s way more information about Indiana Jones than anything for an Encanto attraction (I still don’t buy that show rumor.) It makes me wonder if the Encanto attraction is going to be happening at all
No way! Next you’ll say the same about the giant gorillaThe driver is an animatronic.
It’s not a direct clone of DLs. Animal-related lore.Indy was one of my favorite rides from dl and vastly superior to dinosaur even though it's basically the same ride. As long as they do a different storyline I think it's a great change.
