Email Pin Code Question

I just received an email containing a pin code for a discount off Value resorts for various weeks during 2009. It doesn't state that it is for a package so I'm assuming it's that percent off rack rates. Is it possible to have the pin code applied to a package that includes park tickets and possibly the dining plan?

We saved a ton with our pin code. For my family including food, park tickets, and hotel, it's under $1000 for 5 days. Pretty sweet.

Mine came by email from Disney Destinations. This is my very first pin code and we've been going fairly regularly since 2001

And yes, I signed up on disneyworld.com, ordered the planning DVD, etc. Oh well. Luckily there have been plenty of other discounts out there that we've taken advantage of. (Disney Visa cardholder, AP, and bounceback)

Same here. I suspect folks like us are a 'sure thing' so we don't get target market discounts. Still, it'd be nice to have loyalty rewarded.

So I'm signed up for the regular email from disney.com. Is this where the email pin code comes from? Last time I went to WDW I booked through KK not on my own, is this why I didn't get a code? Also, what are the dates on the email.

I thought the same thing as we're coming up on our 6th or 7th trip in 3 years, but we got a pin code for november. oh well.

The dates range over a number of different weeks through 2009. I booked for the week of May 31 - June 6, 2009.

We booked a standard room at Pop, we were offered Preferred but we don't want to be near the main pool. We were able to add tickets and the dining plan. Make sure you have your pin ready when you call, you have to enter it into the system before you get to a CM. :wave:

I received an email as well but it was addressed to my brother. It does say Potter Family but is there any way that I can still us this without him?

I tend to visit on my own when he can't. Since we are going in December I know he won't be able to come with me next year.

Any idea?

I got an amazing deal with my pin code!! I first did a straight up, no code or anything. I then found the code for SC resident discount. I canceled my pkg and just went room only, and was going to get the AP pass and pay for dining out of pocket. Then I heard about pin codes and I looked in my Disney email file and I found one! I called and now I have a ridiculous savings! Now I have the pkg, rooms, dining, and 1 day MYW ticket and i can upgrade that ticket and apply it to the price of the AP passes! the pin code is the way to go! i got an amazing savings! I saved $700! It's the way to go!!

it will depend what physical address the pin code is attatched to. disney has a profile from i've been told on everybody that has stayed there in the past, when they send out the pincodes, they're attatched to your or in this case your brothers profile. so unless you have the same address i don't think it will work.

Nope sorry!! I just had the same problem, im very bummed now! I didnt even notice the email was in my moms name until i called and they told me i could not use it unless she was there checking in with us. I asked the guy on the phone how i could change the information so all future emails come in my name (the ones from disney destinations) and he said he would have to know where the pins come from and he dosnt so he had no idea. I just emailed disney directially through there feedback page requesting a name change on all future emails.
