It's actually an interesting question as to whether they will stretch out the windows more and delay the appearance on D+. With Elemental having relatively good "legs", it's a good candidate to delay the appearance on streaming for longer as a way to train audiences to not just wait until it is "free" on Disney+

yes, we purchased it for $20, it had extra features and we "own" it.Thanks! I just looked. It's $20 to buy it but can't rent yet.

Just so you have a direct answer, it has not been announced yet on when it will appear on D+.
Disney is trying to retrain audiences to not expect a D+ release right away.
Once announced I'm sure someone will post it here.
I have the patience of a Saint. I just finally watched the last Guardians! I'll wait.But thank you!

I also think they are going to try and cluster releases around October to further cushion the price increase blow and prevent churn.
Probably Elemental > Haunted Mansion > Indy 5 will all come in a 4 week window around October 12th. There's also a reason their second most popular show on D+ is releasing October 6th (Loki S2).

Wait, this October is the 100th anniversary of The Walt Disney Company. I believe they would make its centennial anniversary an opportunity to release these films.

A saw this along with Haunted Mansion today. A really enjoyable film, with all the emotional depth and lush artistry one would expect from Pixar. I’m glad it recovered after its shaky start, and I hope it continues to attract new and return viewers on Disney+.

Having now seen the film, I must retract this earlier comment, at least in part. The “Fire” people are clearly based on Asian immigrant cultures, and while I wouldn’t say the “Water” people read as white per se, they are certainly meant to be understood as a longer-settled, socially more dominant community.
Elemental showed the only worth that it or any work of art has in the minds of Americans: How well it was monetized.
It was a wry commentary on those who dismissed it for what they thought would be a weak BO performance.
As if that's the only criterion on which to judge a work of performing art.
We need to be careful not to play their game.

Not sure about a sequel or a TV show. This was definitely a one-and-done for my kids.
