Del Taco has finally arrived in Central FLA. I know there's one in Oviedo and they may have opened others (plan is to have 15 open in the area).
A whole lot cheaper and a whole lot better.
Mmmm .... tacos ... :xmas::xmas::xmas:
Yes, it should be open during the holiday period. Hope you get to enjoy them! :xmas:

I went to a Del Taco in Denver after my family had raved about them, and yes, I tried the tacos. :dazzle: To each their own, I guess.
enoe1 - If you are interested in Del Taco, have at it. If not, I'd ask around for mom & pop Mexican restaurants not far from WDW, or lesser known fast food Mexican restaurants. I've heard the Taco Maker opened a spot near the Target off of I-4 and US27 (exit for Davenport, Clermont and Haines City). Don Pablos is a sit down restaurant off of International Blvd. Both are a ways from Disney, but if you do have a car for off property travel I'd recommend them (Don Pablos over Taco Maker though).

Taco Tuesdays .29 Tacos rule at Del Taco. Better than Taco Bueno. I still have a few of a fistful of Inferno sauce left from August that I use on Taco Bell.

I just want to chime in and say that of all the restaurants that are "seasonal" now, this is the one I miss the most.

Del Taco is horrible...don't go there. He wasn't asking where to get good taco's..he was asking if El Pirata y el Perico was open or not. You could have said Mexico and it would have been a better answer.

That's your opinion.
You're entitled to have bad taste in tacos.
For fast food, Del Taco has been very good in my experiences in CA, NV and AZ. Certainly worlds better than Taco Hell.
And, yeah, way better and about 80% less costly than this crappy MK 'seasonal' location.

Last year on a 4 day trip to Denver we had Del Taco twice. :lookaroun Nothing really against Taco Bell either, just like the fries part. I only know of one in the Chicago area, and even though Del Taco rocks, unfortunately the traffic to get there makes it not worth it.

Del Taco in Oviedo is a good 40 miles away from the Magic Kingdom... not exactly convenient for theme park food...
