Any idea what the refurb is for? Or is it just general maintenance and upkeep?

I would think this space would be perfect for a Pirate character dining experience. Can't figure out why they haven't at least tested for something like that here? Is it too small maybe?? :shrug:

Actually the old Adventure Land Veranda is much better suited for this. It is my understanding that the idea was looked at and shelved. Why? I have no idea. IMHO they could do this with a Jack Sparrow meet n greet and create a character meal that would rival CRT.

Ya know, I'm not even really a fan of PotC movies past the 1st one but I would totally freakin' love it if this was actually done. The pirates would be much more my style than Cindy.:wave:

Oh yeah! It would definitely rival CRT. I would be the first one there! I love the Pirates movies and Adventureland.

Lets hope they catch on and start to do soemthing like this.

It would be very cool, with lots of great possibilities. I personally like the idea of small parrots on the servers shoulders that tell you the specials.

The place needs something that will make people realize it's actually a food location...maybe a new menu or at least something to draw attention to itself.

Maybe they could go about re-activating a few fountains in the area, too. :lookaroun

I don't think that's included in the work area. The fountain you're referring to is La Fuente De Fortuna. There are several other fountains scattered throughout the area that have been turned and off and filled with potted plants.

This place is the only good reason to visit during peak times! I don't know why I love this place so much, but I do. I could eat here every day...with the occasional cheat with a Cosmic Rays burger.

I LOVE seeing the MK get all this TLC.

I hope they bring back the El Pirates fountain. I'm tired of the potted plants.

If they add a fire pit/show grill besides something fun to see it would smell great. Here's one from Bengal BBQ at DL.

I hope it will be open longer. I have actually never eaten here and I usually go in the summer during the busy season and it's never open. MK can use the extra CS resturant.
