You really need to concentrate on your grammar and spelling. Some of your posts are incredibly hard to read. The spelling part is really easy to fix being that the forum automatically shows you when you've spelled something wrong by putting a red dotted line underneath it. The grammar part, well, you'll have to put some effort into actually learning that.

You're certainly not the only one with this problem on here (in this topic alone there are several), and I know there are a lot of people tired of hearing about spelling and grammar. However, I'm also certain I'm not the only one bothered by easily corrected mistakes.

Overall, it's probably the combination of your "what I want is all that matters" attitude, combined with the laziness of lack of punctuation, and lack of willingness to fix spelling errors when a computer is telling you when you've done it wrong right in front of your face.

I dont know what you do for a living but i dont have time to sit on this forum all day. I have a job and I am usually very busy, I dont have time to sit and double check everything I post. So I have to type fast and if i make a few mistakes well I really dont care. If you dont like it well you can.... Ill keep it civil, so worry about your self.

I agree with you except for this point. We need to praise them when it is deserved, as in Haunted Mansion and Hall of Presidents. I would rather have old attractions fixed than add tons of new attractions. With WDW almost 40, they need to funnel in a lot of money for refurbs, and this should be expected. WDW is so huge - there is a lot to be kept up. So I praise them for doing it - if it is of high quality, because they could just be letting the attractions sit. Haunted Mansion could still not be touched - as well as Space Mountain. They still could just be sitting there. Sad, but true.

I don't really disagree ... but just 'cause Eisner and Iger (along with Pressler and Rasulo and Weiss) decided that BUILD OUT was the smart thing to do with that 'blessing of size' Walt talked of doesn't change the need to do the basics regularly.

Praising Disney for painting or fixing things always strikes me as the fanboi equivalent to going to your cardealer to get your auto repaired and jumping for joy because they did the job and didn't screw you or damage other things ...

I can't give special credit for doing things that should be simply standard operating procedure. I can say that Mansion was well done, for example, but that shouldn't negate the fact that other attractions aren't or that MK is a very stale park overall.

Again ... I am not saying add an E-Ticket every year ... but c'mon ... 1992. How can anyone argue the park isn't sadly in need of EXPANSION?

No kidding.

And although I, too, think its about time for a major new addition, I'm at least pleased to see Disney is recognizing the need to increase park capacity.

I hope the decent HoP refurb is the beginning of some good decisions at MK. I could easily imagine them shuttering that attraction. After all, it had become the butt of jokes and was rarely attended (except for those who needed a snooze away from the heat or rain).

Instead, they found a way to maximize that attraction's capacity by making people want to visit again.

Let's just hope that Disney recognizes the wasted empty seats inside the Tiki Room, Stitch, Carousel of Progress, and MILF and finds a way to increase the existing capacity...by creating appealing shows.

As for the odd and unique attractions choices in the Hong Kong expansion....

Any chance that Disney is deliberately trying to make this park different from the typical "Disneyland" model because Shanghai will likely showcase the traditional Disney attractions (Big Thunder, Haunted Mansion, Toontown, etc)?

It just seems odd that, after years of cloning everything, they would go to the expense of creating new experiences for a park that does not appear to be high on Disney's financial priority list.

There was no way HoP was going to close. None. Even if TDO hates AA attractions because they require care unlike say ... a film.

But that wouldn't have flown at all. And not simply because Obama was elected. The attraction is almost always at least 3/4ers to full when I see it. It's still the kind of show that only Disney would attempt.

And Disney really lucked out with it when you look at it ... Reagan had two terms ... then Clinton had two terms ... and Bush had two ... there's three eight-year spans where NOTHING had to be done and they didn't.

I don't see anything happening to Tiki Room for a while ... and MILF for a long while. While it may be lousy, it gets decent numbers from what I've been told.

CoP is likely gonna see some loving unless they try and kill it again (TDO has been trying off and on for 16-17 years now) ... and I don't see them getting away with that right now.

i find some of these comments so arrogant, ignorant and revealing. so many americans are so uncultured as to have never traveled out of this country and lack the desire to and think that just everyone is always dying to their marvelous little patch of land not ever realising that there is a whole amazing world out there and how awesome it is to see and explore it all

Hopefully it will get the same type of rehab that the HoP got. Although they really don't need to change a whole lot except the last scene and update the sets.

And as far as TDO goes, can someone high up in the company take over all decisions on the Magic Kingdom's Tomorrowland. If you take away the current refurbishments of Space and the TTA, there hasn't been a good decision made in that land in a long, long time.

That was done on purpose. The HK SAR demanded unique experiences that couldn't be found in any other MK in Asia for at least five years from date of opening. The Toy Story Land gets by because it is Paris and isn't going into DLP, but DSP.

That's why you didn't get the kewl new Pirates area in HK ... because they are planning on it in Shanghai. As to BTMRR, that may well go into Shanghai ... you might even see Phantom Manor from DLP replicated there (it was originally planned for HKDL) or maybe a totally new concept.

The Chinese want their Disney parks to be unique and it is a very smart strategy that actually will benefit other parks.

For instance, the uber kewl trackless ride system for Mystic Manor in HK will be cloned for Ratatouille at DSP (another E-Ticket).

Knowing Disney, they would have much rather tossed in TSMM or Soarin in HK. It's great that they didn't.

It's also great that the two big E-Tix are not only unique, but they have no toon tie-ins either.

Well, I agree. But so what? Does that surprise you?

How many WDW lovers have never even traveled across the country to Anaheim?

How many EPCOT lovers have never set foot in one of the real countries displayed in World Showcase.

Some people like safe ... there's a whole world out there ... of both Disney (and other) themed entertainment as well as more real experiences.

There was a time when my travel was much more limited and WDW was the be all and end all ... I'm so glad of two things: 1.) that it was a much better product that I had to 'endure'; and 2.) that I am no longer tied to WDW, Florida or the USA when it comes time to travel.

indeed, being bi coastal taught me no1, DL is better.. number 2... vacation time is better spent in other countries, even non dsney stuff... though my vacations tend to lead me to places with some kind of theme park... and many times a disney park happens along the way.

I just find the ignorance and self aggrandisement and chauvinism of the average american to be disturbing and disconcerting for our future in this ever growing and blending world

(I know, I know...they'll probably theme the crap out of it...but, still........)
