Wall-e could work! Bill Nye and Wall-e... kind of has a Dreamfinder and Figment feel to it (one day...)

No! Just NO!

 ok, now you have spoken heresy. The dinos are literally the only part of that ride that makes it worth it.

But that's the problem! Wouldn't it be nice to have an attraction good enough to where the best part of the ride isn't the shell of its former self filled with animatronics that barely even work?!

Move these AAs to build a new dino ride in AK to replace C&H. Then get something totally new here!

Yeah but the problem is there is hardly any AA's left (Except the Dino's) on Future World East...WoL, Horizons & WoM had tons before their demise..

Wonders of Life only have two AAs.. Buzzy the hypothalamus. Perhaps you meant The Land before Soarin took over? Living with The Land has animatronics, and Frozen is supposed to come with some animatronics as well.

Test Track is good enough not to need animatronics. Same with Mission: Space (as much as I hate the ride, it's not bad. And doesn't need it.)

On top of that, I never said that there shouldn't be an animatronic section in Energy. I just said that it doesn't need to have the dino scenes. There are other things involving energy that could take the use of a ride-through! :)

I think Neil DeGrasse Tyson and Bill Nye the Science Guy hosting Universe of Energy, with a fully updated and much more awe-inspiring film and diorama (maybe or maybe not of dinosaurs anymore) would be the best way to go, if they want to keep it energy related at least.

Is it wrong that I have never been on this "ride"? It's never been on my "to do" list at Epcot (which is still my favorite park).

It's wrong if you didn't go on it in like... 2000. Depending on if you like Ellen's humor and parody-ish style entertainment. (jeopardy and bill nye)

Now, you can get away with a pretty good excuse.

Why does the ride need to have a celebrity host at all? Any celebrity would inevitably date the ride (like with Michael Clarke Duncan at Armageddon in Walt Disney Studios Park in Paris). Use an invisible narrator and shift the ride's focus. Keep the dinosaurs as a history lesson on how we used to get energy, but instead of saying fossil fuels are fine and dandy, explore renewable energy even further.

Also, bring the mirrors back to theater 1!

A celebrity won't date the ride.. If it's done right. Like Martin Short over at O' Canada. Also, the invisible narrator would probably just bring back the snooze-fest of a very.. VERY.. boring 45 minute ride.. Did I mention.. VEEERRYYYY boring? Like... VERRRYYY boring.

I personally think the original UoE's dryness was greatly outweighed by the grand scale of the show and its special effects.

I went on it a few weeks ago and thought the new scene in place of Ellen and the snake was fine. It had pterodactyls in its place and Ellen's voice calling for Bill could be heard in the background. The Ellen AA was a bad imitation of her anyways. The only thing was her referencing being attacked by a snake like creature afterward. All of the screens worked in the pre show too. The worst thing I noticed was the video at the end had a lot of spots on it.
