I was thrilled when it hit 250 posts -- ! But I'd say about 97% of the posts actually don't contain EE information (I do like the thank you's though and the THOUGHTFUL questions).

Maybe a blog format with optional comments would have been better.

Per Warlord: No, I don't want to start a new one -- that's too chaotic -- I want this thread to be a haven of reliable information.

For example, I don't think the photos Rob posted were of randomly selected WDW guests in any way shape or form -- and I don't think its right to intimate that when clearly its not fact. Granted this thread is in a news and rumors zone, but I'm only reporting the most accurate news I can and I think folks appreciate that (Bwana Bob -- you are welcome!!!)

The people pictured above are guests of imagineers, executives, cast etc. In NO WAY is it cool to lead folks on and to make them feel like technical rehearsals are happening now or even soon ( my gawd they only just finished the 1st batch of regular cast being trained)

I'm all about responsible EE journalism (i.e. not posting pictures of cars or two of everything when just 1 shot of something new -- like the clocks -- would suffice). Even that is a bit silly because its not that important that people have to see it NOW.

So Rob or others considering adding a daily perspective which isn't very accurate to this thread, please start your own,

I'm not trying to blow this thread up for you, but since this has become the defacto Everest update thread, this has been a decent place to post updates.

Plus, it's more annoying to see 10 new threads pop up daily, like occured during Mission Space, Philharmagic, and Soarin's final moments of construction.

But if that's what you want, I can respect that. Would you like the same from the other people here?

Point taken, my last post in this thread is deleted. I didn't think it was possible to make a long standing member to feel so out of place and unwanted, especially the one who was the first to post the phrase "Expedition: Everest" on this site, and quite possibly any WDW message board, and the first person to question Joe Rohde about this, years before he started to randomly pop at at the AC and DAK. I think I'll go ahead and stop posting any Everest updates altogether.... both those on wdwmagic and my own site... since all I can seem to perceive is that any photos and any potential information I may gather will just be not taken seriously.
