Somehow you all seem a little shocked by this. I mean if you go to Tom Sawyer Island for example and go into Injun Joe's cave at the large multicolor room's center rock area there are name ingravings everywhere and to top it all off a giant triforce symbol (a sign from legend of zelda for you nongamers). Its always happened and it will always happen so appreciate the stuff when its new

The trouble with this is you don't know who you are going to be dealing with, no matter what they appear to be. If you try to handle it yourself, you may end up getting into a situation that gets all of you expelled from the park for an extended period of time, or permanently.

Come and tell us. We can go up to them and handle it a lot better. One, we have the name tags, and that immediately gets their attention. Two, if they become a problem, we can take the necessary steps to have the removed from the park without you suffering any potential consequences. Its an all or nothing policy at Disney (with minimal exceptions): you get involved in a confrontation, everyone is removed, regardless of who's at fault.

But someone posted earlier in this thread that telling a CM does no good because CMs are too afraid of getting a guest complaint as a consequence. Is that true?

Exactly, you would think that most people would have a little respect for for the hard work people put into these rides. But nope, we live in a society where people feel they need to be jack@$$'s to fit in...:brick:
