Ebay - COP DVD - "Closure"

I was looking on Ebay for the almighty 30th COP pin and this auction came up about a COP DVD. This is what the seller's description says...

"WARNING: CAROUSEL OF PROGRESS IS GOING TO BE CLOSED FOREVER IN 2005 AS THE STRUCTURE CAN NO LONGER HANDLE THE ATTRACTION."

Did I miss something? I've heard rumors of COP closing but, not for this reason. Anyone care to shed some light?

WHAT? I always take everything said online with a grain of salt or a pinch of humor, but if this is true... we're in trouble. COP is in a very bad state right now, preventative and temporary fixes can only go so far, the Animatronics' skins are practically shot right now.

Looks like that person has a lot of Disney DVD's for sale on Ebay. Many of which are taped in places that have the warning "no flash photography or videotaping allowed"....we could get this person in trouble....heh heh heh. Just Kidding.

My wife and I collect Disney Snowglobes and virtually every one on E-bay says rare or discontinued….even when they are available for sale on Disney’s web site. So I would agree with the other posts it is just a ploy to sell the DVD.

Don't forget the thread last week listing some items removed from The Land during current rehab. The listing said "The Land is closing, get your piece of The Land for remembrance" (or something along those lines)

Rehab for CoP has been cancelled? Ummm... I think someone (no names need be mentioned ) will be looking more into this. That's not good, and, quite frankly, it es me off.

I wouldn't go crazy because the rehab isn't on the Disney website anymore. It is somewhat suspicious.

I just dont see how the ride will stay. Its barely open and when it is, there are like 10 people in it. I love the ride but Disney Probably doesn't
