At St.Marten take a taxi over to Maho Beach/Airpot Beach it is cool if you are into planes taking off and landing.

Best. Day. Ever!
Well, I guess it could've been better if we'd been on a Disney ship but it was the most favorite port day we ever had on any cruise we've been on.
I'm just trying to figure out which night will most likely be the formal night so I can schedule an appointment at BBB for my daughter.
It regular seems to be the evening of the first sea day. So, for you it should be the first full day on the ship as you will have two sea days after leaving Port Canaveral.

Bolna is correct. It is usually the first sea day. I always joke that they do it early so everyone still fits into their formal clothes.

That's a true concern! On the Panama Canal cruise the second formal night was a bit uncomfortable in my formal dress!

We loved St. Maarten! We did the Rainforest Trek thru DCL and then spent the rest of the day relaxing at Maho Beach. The restaurant there has free wifi and decently good food and drinks.

I am going on the eastern carib. cruise next summer and am super excited for St. Maarten! It was always my mom's favourite island.
