WDW's E-tickets are:

Big Thunder Mountain
Dinosaur
Expedition Everest
Haunted Mansion
Kilimanjaro Safaris
Mission: SPACE
Pirates of the Caribbean
Rock 'n' Roller Coaster
Soarin'
Space Mountain
Splash Mountain
Test Track
Tower of Terror

There are probably more that I missed but that's a rough idea of what they are (the BIG rides).

While few would agree with it now....when the actual E-tickets were used, Jungle Cruise and Country Bear Jamboree, Tiki Room and It's a Small World were also considered in that category! :D

why is TSM considered a D ticket then one post said

I think this was an attempt to lower expectations a bit so people would not be disappointed. But from the sounds of things most people would call it an e-ticket type ride. I think managements fears were unfounded.

This is what I got when I asked the same thing.
Not a stupid question at all:D

A E-ticket ride that is unusually a big (and or) thrilling (and or) expensive :p

Some good exemples could be Pirates, Space Mountain, Splash mountain, ToT, RRC...

This expression come from the actual ticket that you had to have to ride thoses rides before 1982. You had to buy a booklet including tickets (A,B,C,D & E) and use them to enter a ride.

So even if we don't need tickets anymore, people continue to refer the type A/B/C/D/E to qualify a ride.

A good exemple is the new Toy Story Midway Mania, witch some people refer as D+ and some E.
