what gets me is the fact that these people are throwing money at something and they're not even sure what it is... but does it matter?
is it worthwhile to maintain any particular standard with such an audience... as long as they remain an audience?

There are too many to recall here. I'm always amazed at the lack of knowledge people have about WDW until I remember very few people are fortunate enough to enjoy it on a weekly basis like me.

Even still, it's true that many people don't do their research! Even if they've never gone before, it's not hard to get a book on wdw or watch videos. It amazes me as well.

Isn't there a ride at WDW that has that line-"Time-the ever flowing river"? You know, the one with the dinosaurs where you ride a boat? I think it's next to the King Kong ride, and I'm pretty sure it's at that Studios park, the one that has the big hat and that Hollywood building. Right?
