To be fair magic kingdom is a part of wdw, and at one point was wdw, so they aren't wrong."You Kids Ready to go to Disney World Today?" *As bus head towards The MAGIC KINGDOM!
This must be surly one of the reasons why disney is revamping epcot. This quote must have been said a bit too often.Overheard at EPCOT. Why did you bring to this science place? If I wanted science, I would have gone to school today.
Yeah..sure and that's why they stopped calling Disneyland the Magic Kingdom...To be fair magic kingdom is a part of wdw, and at one point was wdw, so they aren't wrong.
Heck I even call it that in normal convo since that's how most people recognize it. It doesn't bother me as much as people not doing their research on universal and disney thinking one ride is at one park, when really it's at the other.

Meh... this one is a bit forgivable. It's not correct.... but not really that bad.
true, but it's a good reminder of how apathetic the general populace is...
walt disney world and magic kingdom have been two separate things now for 47 years.
that the fallacy is widespread and continuous doesn't make one saying it sound any less ignorant.
But by that logic, if they're on a bus heading toward the Magic Kingdom, (assuming they didn't start their bus ride off-property) aren't they already in Walt Disney World? They're not completely separate though as Magic Kingdom falls within Walt Disney World. The Walt Disney World commercials themselves probably cause most of this confusion. They don't describe a Magic Kingdom vacation, they almost always describe a Walt Disney World vacation using imagery that blends the parks together.

one would hope they were, at least, off-site, otherwise it borders stupidity
- on i-4 in lakeland.... you kids ready to go to florida?

as i'm sure we both know, that's a whole 'nother discussion (a couple, in fact)
I say that too"It's not called MGM, anymore." Holier than thou.

Mother of god.Danny Kaye confused the issue even more during the grand opening of E.P.C.O.T. in '82. He said, "Now E.P.C.O.T. is a part of Walt Disney World, which includes the Magic Kingdom park, which is also a part of E.P.C.O.T."
