You guys...I dropped my iPod.

Luckily, it was in the protective case, but it chipped three little knicks into one corner of it. I think it's also running a little slower...it makes a clicking noise whenever I push one of the buttons...

What should I do? :(

A warranty wouldn't cover it, no? You don't have any sort of service plan on it, do ya?

Omg 2day my friend dropped mine I almost started crying. Luckily nothing happened it just popped up a little but put it back in place. If I was you I think I'd sit there and cry but other than that see if theres a warranty.

good luck... most manufacturers warranty won't cover you dropping it... it's considered "product abuse"

just tell em you don't know what happened and hopefully that'll work.

That's what the guy at Best Buy told us...I'm not really worried about it now. I checked ipodlounge.com, and they said that the slowness is normal...the chips don't bother me anymore...

Thanks guys!

BTW...what do you polish you iPods with?

Nice site, thanks for pointing it out!

I have had one of those rubber covers on mine for a while, i took it off and it has left a kind of mark on, all it needs is for it to be polished, so I would like to know what I should polish it with too! :D

Sounds like a bad fall. The Apple store will replace it for you if it no longer works, so the small dent might not cover it. Sometimes they're generous though. Give 'em a call, see what happens.
