Dress code

Why would I engage in something as misanthropic as laughing at what others wear? It’s the people who post and look at such pictures who should be embarrassed, not the people shown in them.
I actually agree with this, though I come down on the other side of the issue in general. I present myself well when I go out in public, my family does the same, and I wish more people would. But for the most part, People of Walmart (and the like) is made of up people who are extremely poor and/or intellectually disabled.

But this thread isn't about people who can't afford proper clothes or don't know any better. It's about middle-aged women prancing around in $70 lululemon bras.

Watch your mouth. Some of us mid-upper 40's ladies have better physiques than 25 year olds. 😄

Is a crop top-style sports bra “worse” than the yellow top below just because of what it’s called?
Not because of what it is called...

but a white sports bra worn during a typical September rainstorm?

The original question is about wearing a sport bra in a few days. September is rainy season.

Same thing as wearing a white tank top. Actually sports bras are usually thicker material and wouldn't show as much.

In fairness, you don't know any of these things.

People are assuming a great deal about this hypothetical sports bra. How do you know it’s white? How do you know it isn’t already designed to preserve the wearer’s modesty when wet?

No this tread was started because my wife had a legit question about the dress code. People like you are passing judgement on my wife, whom you don’t know. We want to have a great trip and enjoy the Disney magic which we LOVE!!! We are not there to “prance around lululemon bras.” We don’t Judge your “middle aged” outfits extend the same respect to us please.

No, they are not the same, that is why they have different names.

I would not personally wear a white tank top in a Florida summer downpour in MK either, especially one that was prone to becoming sheer.

Probably best to not ask a forum if you might not want to hear some of the answers.

Oddly enough, the new Jasmine costume (both adult and child) has a covered midriff, though the original cartoon still had an exposed midriff. the child version has covered shoulders. We saw several girls wearing the costume, and it is very pretty, but notably more conservative than prior versions.

Jasmine as depicted in Epcot's Morocco is even more conservative: she wears long sleeves and a crew height neckline, though the sleeves of her costume are translucent.
I prefer the discontinued Mo’ Rockin belly dancer outfit with her shaking those hips during the several shows daily at Morocco.
