Female (not tigsdad) and I dream in color....sometimes too vivid. I've noticed that if I dream something 3 times it usually comes true.(like my mom's death).

I dream in color all the time.
Did you ever dream something one night and the next night pick up exactly where you left off?
That happens to me a lot.

I know what you mean Grizz, when I watch modern Black and White I can tell what colors things should be overall, so maybe our dreams are like that, regardless... in this poll I would assume the way you think your dreams are is what's important, even if it is not true.

But your mind would not alter it's perception of what your brain views.
So if you see in your waking moments in color you would dream in color.
Even blind people dream in color.

I wonder... does it mean anything if you dream in black and white as opposed to color? I dream in color... but I had a teacher poll us about this once. I just wondered. I have dejavu all the time... and it freaks my husband out! He's easily freaked out, though. At halloween time when they have all those really cool shows about "haunted houses" on the history and travel channels, he won't let me watch them if he's here. (but don't tell him I told you that :lookaroun )

WDWSpider,

Think of a beach ball, picture it in your head, is it in color?

I bet it is. Why would dreams be any different than the mental image you just had?

How do they know...for SURE??

How do we know that *we're* not colorblind? Maybe what WE see (our perception of color) is not the maximum.

How do we know we look at the same things? Perhaps what we see exists in other planes?

What would there be if there wasn't anything? It wouldn't be white or black..because those are 'things!'

  :brick:  :veryconfu   :hammer:

P.S. I think Imagineering could do a wonderful job tackling some of these ideas... :animwink:

It's been scientificly proven that blind people dream in color by the way they describe certain colors as cold, hot, calm or loud.

We do not perceive things in black or white because we know and see color. Just as we know what a turtle or a rabbit is we know certain colors.

By the way Grizz who are you Carl Sagan? :hammer:
