That's a very interesting change. As long as I can remember, whenever there have been 2 ships ported at Port Canaveral, the 3- and 4-night sailings have always been Sunday and Thursday. I wonder why the change.

Where will the Wonder be at that time? Seems confusing to me...
And are the Magic itineraries changing as well if she is moved from Miami to Port Caneveral?

The Wonder currently doesn't have anything scheduled after October 10th. It will probably be in drydock.

The Magic would have been in Miami, but it appears it is moving to Port Canaveral. No specifics on that yet.

Thanks!!

All very strange! I really liked the 5-night itinerary out of Miami on the Wonder this spring and it would be a shame if these are no longer available.

I am assuming having two ships out of Port Canaveral is selling better than one in Miami. It is too bad for Miami!

What the… Is all 4 ships going to be in Port Canaveral? I am so confused right now.

Looks like 3 in Port Canaveral and one in drydock.

Hey, at least I can hope that they come out with longer cruises on the Magic out of PC. Would love to do a 10-night Southern Caribbean itinerary or something like that!!
That would be awesome! I think it would do rather well also!

I wish it was because they are leaving the Magic in San Juan.
I was hoping to do the Southern Caribbean but when I found it was in September and October my heart broke.

I like the way you think. ;)

:D Took me only one cruise to figure out that sea days are wonderful and that longer is better! I would love to see the Souther Caribbean islands, but the current itineraries are very port heavy I think. So adding a few sea days to get down there would be perfect!

Back to Tortola!! Just a short ferry ride to the Baths at Virgin Gorda!!! I'm there!

(This was in '09, btw)

I love the BVI's and The Baths was quite possibly one of the best experiences of my life! We were lucky to be there with some friends on there 50 foot boat when I was a teenager. It was like RV'ing on the ocean, seriously the most fun ever.

Crazy thought - could it be possible that the Wonder - instead of going into a long dry-dock in order to get the same enhancements as the Magic - will only get a "small" dry dock this time? From what I understand the Magic will be too large for the Panama Canal after dry dock, so they might want to put off doing the same to the Wonder before the canal has the new larger locks in order to be able to have a ship in Alaska in the summer. So maybe the Wonder will pick up the Magic's cruises out of Miami and the Magic will be doing something out of PC instead.

I know, pretty crazy, but it is fun to speculate!! :p

Will the AquaDunk really effect the size of the ship that much where it can’t go through the Panama Canal. From my understanding they where even making the Panama Canal bigger to fit larger and more ships through. However, if you are right I can definitely see the Wonder getting a minor refurbishment. Alaska is really big for Disney from what I understand. I doubt we will be seeing a new ship for a while. If anything we are looking at 2016-2017 for delivery.
