Anyone know who is currently acting as cruise director on the Dream? We're sailing away in 1.5 mos and would love to hear it's someone like Brent with his marvelous accent to make even the mundane announcements entertaining...

He really is. He makes the "How to Disembark" video loop actually entertaining. We saw him out and about on the ship a few times and he is quick to offer a sincere "Hi, how are you?"

When we went in September it was Christian but last month it was a woman and for the life of me I can't remember her name. She was pretty good but Christian was awesome!

Natalie? When we went in 2013 we had Natalie from London. I can tell she wasn’t the normal cruise director but she did a pretty good job. Who is the official cruise director?

Darin was the cruise director in Aug. He had been on th Magic for years.

Pretty sure the cruise directors rotate ships.
These are the "talky-talk" people. Blah blah blah....talk talk talk....on n on n on n on .....
Believe me, there is a point where the CD exuberance causes you to want to slap random people. Like when you're sick. Oh, then there's when you go to the show, the lights go down, then the CD stands there talking and talking and talking and talking and laughing at their cleverness then talking some more.... Ugh. I came to see the SHOW. At least once we had time to quietly debate abandoning the show we wanted to see because the CD spiel was dragging ooooooooon foreeeeeeever.....

To my knowledge there isn't an official one. They all rotate around. I believe Brent has been there the longest. He was our first cruise director!

Darren (Darin) was the director on our June 8 cruise. He was perky.

We really liked him and enjoyed hearing his information. It was our first cruise, so we were soaking it all in. I loved watching the debarkation video of him.It's fun when they are as happy to be on the cruise as you are even though that's their job.
