I was at MK yesturday and saw the 10:40 and the 5:35 show. Niether of them had the new character heads. I was pretty dissappointed! I guess I'll have to go back in 2 weeks.

Mickey's still adjusting slightly to the plastic surgery, ya know? :)

In addition to all else, yes, two more pyro shots have been added to the show from the Castle Breezeway Bridge. Sounds effects have been added to accent the pyro...and some new lighting effects and a couple new cues go in soon!

It's turned into quite the little show on the Castle stage...guests really get into it...have to say, I was slightly surprised!

I have just uploaded my video to google from Thursday morning a couple of hours before we left to come home, it can be found here if anyone is interested:

Unfortunately it is only the first half as the show had to be stopped, probably because of the weather so no Hook and Smee I am affraid.

Oh come on! Mark, here's my advice. Avoid from the day that might have a weather cancellation. Also, the weather is your enemy. Sorry, I'm a little impatient. I mean, I did saw the whole show of it before that happen and I thought it was great show. Too bad I'm not see it for real, because I already went to Disney World last year. When I heard they have the talking heads version, I might be the shoe in to find the complete video of the talking heads version and maybe save it. But no. This is worst search I ever had. Anyway, thank you video cam it and remember the weather is your enemy.

I actualy got to thinking as to why the heads are not in the shows that people have seen. I think as of now there is only one of each. And from what I've been told they do tend to glitch, Donald especialy for some reason. I suppose the reason for them not using them as one or more heads was having techical difficulties and went to setup B instead.

Good guess, but no. :)

I was there on Saturday, like many others, looking to see the new heads and, like many others, was let down. I had a bad experience at MK yesterday because several CMs decided it was their job to be nasty to my group, especially during the fiasco of Spectromagic.

Tried leaving the park before the parade started but it was so congested down Main Street and the CMs weren't doing anything but standing there watching the mess, that we got from the hub to the ice cream shop during the time it took for the whole parade to pass by. They didn't open up the backstage area, or let you into any of the shops. It was terrible. So bad that we tried to cut through the ice cream shop and was greeted by a CM named Jack who found it his duty to rudely push us out of the store. I explained how the crowd wasn't moving and my friend is claustrophobic. He said, "Wait outside!" and pushed us out and locked the door behind us, even though the store was still open! [/rant]

But back to the Dream with Mickey show.

And the Genesis' "Land of Confusion" inspired Capt. Hook and Smee!

I put a few more pics HERE including some more of her wardrobe malfunction and some more looks at Hook and Smee. Obviously it's not prosthetics that Hook and Smee wear, but more of a plastic/rubber cowl. Pretty bad looking if you ask me. I'd rather have the traditional version.

All in all, a very untypical day at Disney. At least the pin trading was pretty good!

Probably CP kids.

No this was an older man. The CP kids were behind the counter with ice cream scoops. I think the CP kids were the traffic flow CMs. There was nobody with the red wands telling people to move along, except for up at the hub. It was just a bad way to end the night.

Probably CP kids.

Being a former CP, I take offense to your comment that it was probably CP's. I know that not all CP's are the best CM's but that doesn't mean that its always THEM being "rude" or "not doing their job right". I am sorry that you had a bad experience, sadly most of us, including myself, have had them as well... but please don't be so quick to blame it on CP's!

They were using this technology with Timon in France in The Legend of the Lion King Stage Show for a little while now. I remember looking it up on the web site for DisneyParis and thought it was pretty cool. I hope they can bring that to FTLK because that would make it even better... it that's possible! :)

No offence but 95% of the time the CMs we are less than impressed with are CPs, but you are right, I didn't mean to say that every CPer is bad.

But a lot of the CMs there at this time of the year are new CPs, so they may not have known how to handle the situation with the crowds, BUT the CM who was rude to us was an older man, looked to be of retired age.
