Then they started putting shows in it and I lost interest...

I can confirm that MK managers keep hinting that something is coming to MK entertainment-wise but nobody seems to know just what. Or when.

This is probably not the best place to say it, but can I come clean? I was about four or five when I saw this show for the first time, and the Gift of Laughter freaked me out big-time. In fact, on every single trip we went on before the show closed (the last one being February 2005), I deliberately made sure we didn't have to see the show so I didn't have to look at it. And I distinctly remember watching the Romance sequence from the Liberty Square bridge (we actually got a picture from that angle), then high-tailing it through the area to get to Fantasyland.

My inside mouse tells me that DAWM is listed as being down from July 21st to August 19th. That can always change, the show could be different or never come back. Then entertainment/show schedule is only out up to August 15th so maybe next week they might no more.

However scuttlebutt says it's down 90% due to Hub construction related reasons not show change reasons.

I know the show had to go dark because of all the construction, but then rumors started to fly that since the show would be gone for 5 weeks anyway, it would be the perfect opportunity to update the show and rehearse. I have still yet to hear any confirmation one way or the other as to what the show will be like when it returns.

They haven't auditioned or begun rehearsing any new daily castle show (only the MNSSHP Hocus Pocus show was recently cast), which leads me to believe DAWM is either coming back, or there's going to be nothing at all.

If there was going to be a new show, we'd have heard about it by now. When the next schedule comes out, we'll probably have our answer.

I can't believe that MK would have no show. From the Hocus art and the Hub art, the current stage is staying. There are a few tweets out there that DAWM may change. Some changes might be nice, like Pyro after the first song like CTS?

Dream along is staying, I've heard rumors that they are trying to make some small changes though, like costumes, and perhaps a new mix for the opening and closing numbers, but that's it, and it's only rumors.

Like updated voices? Kind of what the trolley show been doing the past year or two, getting new recordings? Hopefully the full finale will stay. Maybe a little more Pyro? Pyro fountains like from the old holiday shows would be cool! I sure miss the doves!
I'm assuming DAWM will have the same schedule? It really should at night more often!

During the winter months, when it gets dark earlier, the last performance of the day is under the lights and it looks GREAT. Those costumes really sparkle!

Also, last year they did a performance between the two Frozen Holiday Wish performances, which was also under the lights.

Anyhow, I can also confirm DAWM is returning, based on an entertainment friends casting for the fall bids. I have no idea if the show is getting any enhancements, though.
