Man...That was BRUTAL!! A few of my friends ate there and said it wasnt too bad. Typical Times sqaure family friendly place!!
Yeah I mean as those places go it's fine. It's just hard to take them seriously with such amazing and competitive food a few blocks over.

Do you eat there everyday? Know someone who does?

Relax. It's a "special occasion" restaurant. You can treat yourself from time to time. It'll be okay.
"special occasion" doesn't have to = "bad for you". I don't really care if people want to eat there or not, Its a place I chose to avoid and that's my prerogative.

All things considered...id hate to see Even More resturants go into Dtd that youd have to make Adr's for months/weeks/ days in advance....Its just enough.

Theres plenty of room for quick meals, sit downs and even Fine dining in Dtd. hopefully we get a little of each!!

They have salads as well. Honestly, I don't eat there much either (I probably haven't been there in a year) for exactly the reason you stated. I just don't think the calory content of their meals is worth getting on a soapbox about.

Why on earth does the weather matter? Don't they have plenty of indoor facilities they could use for this?
When you announce something big for Walt Disney World, you want to have media shots of Tom Staggs with a beautiful blue sky and sun in the background. Looking at the radar for Orlando, it is not good so far today.

Absolutely! Hopefully they'll find the perfect mix. IMO, DTD is currently woefully short of every option, as evidenced by the enormous wait times on most nights.

They do need many, many more quick service options though. I love Earl Of Sandwich but I'm not waiting half an hour to get a sandwich.

Hmm...I guess that makes sense...

Did Disney invite a lot of media to this event? I guess if they did, everyone will just come back tomorrow? Seems like an announcement like this would be a rain or shine type thing. Oh well...

Guess we just have to talk more about the Tangled Toilets.

My neighbor was brought in from Boston to Open a new location by me On Long Island. He said the amount of money they were taking in was insane UNTIL, The Government focred them to post calories on the menu....60% drop in business and 1/2 the staff was let go.

I did Buy an entire Cheesecake from them last year for Fathers Day which we brought to my In-laws and devoured.

It was 12,000 calories and $52.00 for a 10 inch cake.....

Hardly a soapbox, just an opinion. All I was stating was that I'm not a Cheesecake factory fan and would prefer something else. Its irrelevant anyway since its inclusion in the new plan hasn't even been hinted at in any of the info any of us have seen so far.

Yea, all of them can be found 5-15 minutes away. I don't really see the benefit for Disney or said companies by adding them to the DTD complex.

I think we should be looking at things that aren't already saturated in the Orlando/Lake Buena Vista market.

I totally agree, but name some! There aren't many out there that aren't already in the area.

I'm especially interested in "draw" restaurants but I can't think of any that aren't already at City Walk or DTD.
