We went before it moved to the new location and loved it. Then we tried it at the new location last year and loved it again. We are going back this year. The only negative is the same negative that I have observed in most character experiences-tables are too close to each other and I feel crowded.
It is a buffet and even has lower buffet areas for children.

We went to this character breakfast in its old location and didn't really like it but we thought that we would give it a try again in Tusker House. We loved it. There was a great selection on the breakfast buffet and all of the characters came more than once to our table. We already have reservations for breakfast there again when we go next month.

Any thoughts on this breakfast???

Here are some Tusker House reviews (breakfast, lunch, and dinner)

I didn't like Donald's breakfast. I thought the food was ok, but the character interaction is MUCH better at the other character breakfasts. It was very obvious that the characters were being rushed by the attendants and management. I won't be going back.

We did Donalds breakfast at the old location and at Tusker House. The food is better at Tusker House but we felt very rushed and will never return. We got the feeling not only from the characters but from the server after the characters were already gone. It was obvious she did not want us staying around to allow our 3 children to eat.

This has become our favorite character breakfast. We've been there twice (Tusker House location) and had a very nice experience both times.

We went to this one in the summer of 2006 when it was at Restaurantosaurus.
We are planning to go to the one at The Tusker House this year.
I hear it's alot of fun!

Food is reasonable, location is good, tables far too close together and when we went it was packed. I'd much rather visit CP for a more sedate experience.

this one is tricky to review

food is a sold A+, great selection which was fresh and constantly attended to while we were there, never an empty container

characters, to put it mildly, sucked
they walked past our table and waved, did not even stop for photos
it was both my birthday and my 5 yr old nephew's birthday, they gave us cupcakes and i complained to the waitress about the characters just walking by
she said she would talk to someone but nothing happened, no one came back to us

there were 5 of us we were there for almost an hour in total time with no character interaction

when we left i took my nephew by the hand walked around and found Goofy and told him to stand still for a photo, it was the least he could do since it was my nephew's birthday and he just walked past us during breakfast and ignored us

he did not even stop for the photo, he came out completely blurry
a complaint at the podium also did nothing

Food A+
Characters C-

Yeah...Had a similar experience as mentioned above.

I think this is one of the cheapest of the Breakfast Buffets...and very decent food for the money.
And when you are a bunch of starving adults who want a lot of food choices for a reasonable price...this one can't be beat.

We had a little character interaction which was fine...since we weren't really there for the characters anyway. The atmosphere is fun too.

but If we had kids with us...we would definitely go for a different character buffet...there are so many better ones!

Went this morning. The characters were great. Our server was excellent. The food was mediocre at best - much of the food that should have been hot was downright cold.

We went when it was at it's old location (restaurantosaurus or however it's spelled), anyway I agree that the tables were really close together but, overall we had a great experience. The character interaction was great and the food was good, nothing spectacular just typical buffet food. I do have to say that the buffet had a good selection.

we went here in Oct with my inlaws and my dd1and S2 and they where great we saw the charaters at least 3 times and they took a picture before we went in as a group. We liked it very much and had a great time

Heading for the great escape.
Went in Dec, food was typical breakfast buffet, we all enjoyed it. The server was exceptional very friendly and communicative. And all the characters took time to ensure I got a couple of photos of each. And the place was busy but it was still pleasant enough.

Yup, love and shove. That's not the characters fault though. They are supposed to make it through their rotation and if they added 1 more character there it might help some.

Cape May Cafe is one of the best places for character interaction. The characters aren't hurried and usually you get to see them more than once.

We were just there for the breakfast, on May 10th. We had a late reservation, 10:10, and we LOVED it. All of the characters were able to give autographs and multiple photo's with our son. We thought this was a GREAT experience and would do it again in a heart beat. The juice they serve is wonderful and the food is great!

We went in October and really enjoyed it.

The food was great. Lots of choices. I also really loved their special juice! Yummy!

The characters were a bit rushed, but were willing to accomodate if you asked. When we asked for separate photos they were quick but did do them.

My daughter had a funny experience there. They call you for your table by announcing that Smith travelers are ready for their expedition. My daughter asked us how come there were so many people with the last name travelers. :ROFLOL:

Any thoughts on this breakfast???

Hi there!

I like this one - a lot! I think b/c it is not super popular - similar to Cape May - and one of the better experiences. Chef Mickey and Crystal Palace are two of my faves - but so very popular. When we went to Donald's and Cape May - the character interaction was so much better! :sohappy:

My DW and I ate there on our last trip. We didn't really like it. The food was just ok. I thought that the characters only spent a small amount of time with each table unlike other character meals where they spend at least 5 minutes with each table.
