Outlaw Run seems crazy! Unfortunately I haven't ridden it yet. I went over Memorial Day and the wait was just too long for me haha.

I need to go right after the rope drop then. I always go straight to Powder Keg and Fire in the Hole first.

Powder Kegs lines haven't been as bad since OR opened but that has probably changed now haven't been there yet this summer

That is true. I was one of the first at the ride during Memorial day. The ride was broken down though so I pretty much wasted my time waiting in line for it haha. I would say there were probably about 30-40 in line right after opening.

I went when I was 14. Growing up with Disney i went in closed minded. I left there loving it. The log flume was great. One of the best family vacations we ever went on. I had never seen a mountain before. I've since seen every mountain range this country has to offer. The Smokies will always be a special place for me.

Went to Dollywood July 4th last year. The park was practically empty. No lines!
The new rides look greAT!
We loved the food. My boys enjoyed the rides. Got a few ashes on me from the train. You just can't hang out of the train or you will get an ash or 2 in your eye.
My Mom was in a scooter, and the folks working there were quite nice. Splash Country was especially fun!
We used to go to Gatlinburg when I was little. Boy- it still is a bit too "busy" for me, but since we moved to WV, the mountains aren't quite as "majestic" to me now.
We stayed @ Comfort Inn Dollywood, and we watched the fireworks right from our hotel. They were beautiful!
Overall, I'd say we had a nice time. We had a 3 day pass. I'd like to go some time @ Christmas. I am certain it's gorgeous!
