Dole Whip

Since the mix is available commercially it is possible that you can but them in local ice cream places and we wouldn't know it until we came across them.

I seem to remember it being mentioned in another thread that a member buys them locally (but I could be mistaken on that point :lol: ).

from percision foods has a number of testimonies from various businesses that are using it.

Names of the shops are not given, but it says things like "Ice Cream Shop, Moscow PA" So if somone really really had a hankering for this stuff (lord knows why ) there cant be THAT many ice cream shops in Moscow PA. A little time with a phone book (or the internet) should narrow it down.

There are about 20 or so places on that website.

And for those of you in the Rexburg ID area (if any of you are)

The Cocoabean Cupcake Cafe (hows that for a name) is serving it

As an ignorant Brit!.....Can someone please tell me what a dole whip is??....read many threads on here regarding them & would love to be enlightened...so perhaps I can try one on my December trip!! Thank you :sohappy:

The Sunshine Tree Terrace in Magic Kingdom has the orange slush (frozen orange juice), personally I like it better than the dole whip. but that could be because i'm not a huge fan of pineapple. It used to be even better when they'd mix the frozen oj with vanilla ice cream.

I read about Dole Whips on this forum before my last trip to Disney, but had never heard of them previously. Even though I had been to the world 4 times already. Don't know how it escaped me, but it did!

After reading about the obsession some people have with the whips, I HAD to try one.

And Oh. My. Word.

Just wanted to add that the Dole Whip is a great snack for diabetics as it's only 14 gms of carbs per serving.

I had one a couple of years ago and I loved it. I had no idea what it was called. I just called it the, "pinapple ice cream near Aladdin's magic carpets". lol. LOVE DOLE WHIP! Can't wait untill I try the float!
