Dole Whip/Smoothy

I'm a Jamba Juice addict. Besides the Dole Whip, are there any other famous blended fruit drinks @ WDW?

Remember, I'm a smoothy snob. Real fruit only, no snow-cone/Slurpy syrup & ice for me!

How many different locations can I find the Dole Whips?

Boma serves a wonderful fruit drink called "Frunch" at breakfast. And Kona Cafe makes great fruit smoothies, any time of day. My sons get them everytime we go.

There are two locations in WDW for Dole Whips....Adventureland Aloha Isle and Polynesian Villiage Captain Cook's.

The other two similar type items are a Strawberry Swirl at Enchanted Grove in Fantasyland (near the teacups) and Citrus Swirl at the Sunshine Tree Terrace (next to Tiki birds).

Then you need an ice cream maker at home. Specifically, a soft serve ice cream maker. Two links from a previous thread on the subject:

There are also various recipes out there to try it but they do NOT work if you don't have an ice cream machine. I've tried them and ended up with some weird concoction that wasn't even remotely ice cream like.

They have smoothies in Tomorrowland that are pretty good.

I love Jamba Juice. At DTD at Disneyland they have a Jamba Juice- it's so nice to get one on the way to the parks in the morning. They should put one at DTD at WDW- it would do really good business.

Don't we need to clarify that Dole Whips are NOT smoothies??

A Dole Whip is closer to soft serve ice cream/sherbet than it is to a drink.

You cannot slurp a straight Dole Whip through a straw. A float is a different story--but it is a FLOAT--some ice creamy Dole Whip in a glass of pineapple juice.

There are no blenders or fresh fruit involved in the creation of a Dole Whip
