You're not very good at playing catch, are you...?

:lookaroun

Ya know... one of my biggest childhood... not regrets because there was nothing I could do about it... but I guess... disappointments... is baseball...

made the middle school team in 7th grade, very good ball player growing up... but injured my back that summer after in summer league... so i didn't play 8th grade... and in High School just... decided he wasn't worth it to me...

My brother actually walked on (but later quit) on a D2 baseball team his freshman year of college... he was 7 years older than me... but growing up it was kind of always known... my brother was the better basketball player, but I was a much better baseball player. I really miss baseball...

Baseball, by FAR my best sport... then Soccer... then basketball...

In high school... played zero years of baseball, 1 year of soccer, and 4 years of basketball... Go figure...

(And for soccer... Varsity coach put me on Freshman over JV team HIMSELF because he wanted me to move from a defensive position to be a mid-fielder... basically told me I'd be on Varsity sophomore year... I didn't like midfield, lost my love for the game... quit... :o My friends were all PO'd at me for it...)

I actually quit to try-out for golf... which I had been down to a 12 handicap by the time tryouts came around my sophomore year... the average score of the 3 days to get on the team was 16 over... so if I just played my AVERAGE golf, I woulda made the team... shot 28 over first day... 26 over second day... 3rd day I had NO shot of making the team... shot my BEST EVER 7 over the third day...

My golf game went significantly down-hill from there... I suck now, hahahahaha... not really, but just not the same player... and I gave up on Soccer... and baseball... and only still play basketball and golf... my worse two sports...

(I don't know why I wanted to say that... I guess because those were my glory days... I love reliving those old days... and I could use a confidence builder right now... hahaha :o shut up Nibbs no one asked you!! :lookaroun)
