Pfft.

yeah... doesn't feel so good does it...

All I wanted was some conversation...

WEIRD PEOPLE HAVE FEELS TOO BUN!!!!

:lookaroun

Weird? I'm weird... who's not weird around here?? :lookaroun

?!?! Why? That's rude of them!

Eh, they've all got established social connections, and I don't really fit into their high-class lifestyle

I wish my SIL hadn't moved. I think she used to live pretty close to you, but now they moved to Virginia. I'm actually hoping that some of the new people who are coming in June will have kids. This girl is just a little wacky. She tries to give me parenting advice all the time and she is pretty much the last person I would ever take advice from.

I love my DH but Edward Cullen could come through my bedroom window any night :lookaroun

having my SIL here has been a lifesaver.. It helps to have someone who's gone through it before you to be around to answer questions.

i felt satisfied. it really does have closure. I just wish there were more.

That makes me feel better to know that both of you feel it ended well. I should probably start it sometime today. DH has a lecture tonight and the test on Sat, so I won't feel like I'm avoiding him if I sit here glued to the book.

I'm sorry Bun. At our old house I wasn't really friends with any neighbors. I had enough outside of our neighborhood anyways.

Have you seen the show? When we first signed up for DVR we got HBO for free so we DVR-ed a few. After halfway (if that) through the first one, we turned it off and deleted the rest. I wondered if the books were as graphic (and I'm not talking about violently graphic...:lookaroun) The story intrigued me though.

Not yet. I've got it saved on Netflix though, and it comes out in May. I kinda thought it'd be a bit graphic. It IS HBO, after all. That's what they do, isn't it? I just want to see how they translate and/or change the story.

the books do have a few, uh, strong scenes. But they're easily skipped, and th rest of the books are really fun. Not to mention, they get less and less as the series goes on. The last book didn't have a single one in it.

Start it! You won't regret it. And you can always read it again

Eh, I'm used to it. I'm hoping I can make some friends when Anya goes to school. there'll be plenty of new faces up there

Let me clarify... I was satisfied with the ENDING, like how things concluded and were wrapped up... Was I satisfied with other things... not so much. But I guess I kinda felt that way in most of the books.

Oh okay. Well, I watched S & the City (that was originally HBO, right?) and that was no where near as bad.

But if the books don't get into detail too much in those scenes... I may check them out.

Oh, how could I forget our resident studmuffin.
I think you creep me out more :lookaroun

 just kidding....maybe

I feel bad because I feel like I'm calling or emailing her all the time just to ask her questions.

you can always ask me! I'm here for you! I would actually love to answer stuff. It makes me feel like I'm being useful :o

You know I love ya

There's really nobody in our neighborhood that's her age. There's a 2 1/2 year old two doors down, but he's never home. they're too busy. The rest of the kids are all 8-12 and waaay too old to play with. Not to mention they're brats. most of them, anyways. the parents just aren't nice either. apple, tree...

Never watched SATC... don't have HBO, and I wouldn't want to watch those cut versions they air on lifetime. I'm a purist like that. I also hate book abridgements. So, i don't have much to base the comparison on. If you just skip the racy scenes, the rest is just a mystery.. with vampires.

Heck, if DOT can read, and love these books, you can too :lookaroun
