No prob! Their dog saved him from it eventually and pulled it off his head.
Hey, Jenny, before I forget I've been meaning to ask...has Abby had any easier of a time w/ getting her contacts in?
I had the saaaaame problem w/ mine when I first got them which is why I asked. I remember I got mine the day of my first Homecoming Dance and I could NOT get them in. I had my mom and both grandmothers in the bathroom all trying to help me get them in for about an hour. Never got them in and there was no way I was wearing my glasses so I just went anyway and couldn't see. But in all the pics my eyes are bright red from all the trying. No, she's been very frustrated....I think part of the problem is she's pushing the contact too hard and it just sticks to her finger or folds...I'm going to try to help her after church tomorrow, so she can wear them to my folks' house. Problem is, I can't do this for her, she has to figure it out on her own.
Oh and tell her what helped me was not looking straight ahead at it when I was putting it in, but looking up. Then once it's in a I blinked once or twice it moves down into place. That's still how I have to put them in.Hey Joanna!

I remember I just kept at it and kept at it and eventually got the hang of it. Tell her not to get discouraged.![]()

:sohappy:I will pass the encouragement and advice on to her. Thanks! I think she sees herself as not as pretty with glasses (which is so NOT true), but if it helps her boost her self-esteem by wearing the contacts, that's what we'll work with.
Oh, they actually came back today and removed the rest of our tree pieces (I told them to spend the day with their families and come next week, but I guess the boss over rode that :shrug. So now all that's left to do in our backyard is grind out the stumps on those two biggies, plus a couple more smaller stumps. Then we can prep that area for the kids' swingset.

Hi Dot!
Hi also to Luke and Joanna!
:sohappy:
How do they get rid of the stumps?
It's called a stump grinder....a circular saw that goes back and forth across the stump grinding it out so that all that's left is sawdust (like I need any more of that).
We did!!! I love everything!!! :sohappy: Tomorrow we're going to put it all away in his drawers & stuff.Stephie...
Did you have a chance to look through your gifts?
Interesting....It's called a stump grinder....a circular saw that goes back and forth across the stump grinding it out so that all that's left is sawdust (like I need any more of that).
It will be so worth it when it's all done, Jenn!
All that extra space and sunlight!
