How are you, Sweets?

I just plopped a ham in the oven.
That's going to be the extent of my Easter cooking.
Everything else is coming from the store. :lookaroun
I baked a Peaches and Cream cake this morning and I'll put the Death by Chocolate together tonight. Then I just have to make the rolls tomorrow, and maybe a dump cake if I really feel the need.

Just not into it this year....

I've been great.
Rachel is on her way home with her boyfriend. We're meeting family for dinner this evening. And darn my brother, he bought the ham this year. That's usually my thing. So I have to cook other stuff.

That's a lot of baking!
I bought a strawberry shortcake. :lookaroun And there's leftover ice cream from last week.
George is going to pick up some more roast beef to add to last weeks leftovers that I froze. He's gonna get a couple of side salads, too.
So...that's it.
Might not be fancy, but we'll be eating good!

Yay for Rachel coming home.
Don't you hate it when someone changes your routine? That ham was yours!

I think we're covered.
When do we eat? :slurp: :lookaroun

Grape salad?
Do describe, please.

Easy recipe. Wash and dry about 4-6 pounds of seedless red and green grapes.
Mix 8 oz. cream cheese, 8 oz. sour cream, 1 cp. sugar and 2 tbsp. vanilla. Add the grapes, 1 cp. chopped pecans, and let chill. About 30 minutes before serving, sprinkle 1 cp. brown sugar over the top.

You get 2 of your foodgroups for the day, fruit and sugar.

It's been fun but I must go. My husband keeps giving me these looks, as he passes by me with the broom. :lookaroun If I don't talk to you again before dinner, have a wonderful day. And Betty, spring is just around the corner.
